Christinne S. Shaw Obituary

Christinne S. Shaw, 70, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  A family Celebration of Life will be planned near her birthday this coming spring.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Christinne’s family and the arrangements.

Christinne Sue Skubal was born on May 3, 1951 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald Vince and Jewel Arlene (Shaw) Skubal.  She was a graduate of Muscatine High School.  Christinne worked as a medical assistant for several places including the U of I, Genesis and several Kidney Dialysis Centers in Florida.  She had a passion for fishing and was a several time womens champion of freshwater fishing at Lake Okoboji.  She also enjoyed music, spending time with her family, volunteering with the Patriot Guard and helping many Veteran families however she could; whether with babysitting for date nights, assisting with grocery shopping and chaperoning many honor flights.

Christinne will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jenna (Robert Holmes) Poulin of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Richard Skubal of Colorado and Randy (Renate) Skubal of Columbus Junction and nieces, Raciel Dlouhy and her three sons, Briana Skubal and Amanda Skubal and her children, Harley, Jade and Gabe and nephew, Scott (Gina) Skubal and his children, Katlyn and Conner.

Christinne was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vicky Skubal.
