MUSCATINE, Iowa—Joyce M. Small, 62, of Muscatine, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine.
Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for the arrangements.
Joyce Marie Stanbro was born March 17, 1952, in Muscatine, the daughter of Louie Francis and Wilma Alice (Jensen) Stanbro. Joyce was a graduate of Muscatine High School and Muscatine Community College.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Traci Carpenter and fiancé, Matthew Youngkin and Tami Small and significant other, Randy Lane; three granddaughters, Bryanna (Breezy) Burkey and husband Jesse, Taylor (T) Carpenter, and Kayeleigh Curry; two grandsons, Skyler Curry and Logan Curry; brothers, David (Amy) Stanbro and nephew Jake, and Ralph (Barb) Zellmer; sisters, Darlene Shepard, Rosemary (William) Burlingame, Shirl Johnson, Linda (John) Kersbergen and Sherrie (Neal) Shaffer; sister-in-law, Carolyn Zellmer; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friend, Pat Kirk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don Zellmer and Bobby Stanbro; and sister, Charlotte Stanbro.
