MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Connie J. Burke Bollman, 51, Muscatine, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington.

There will be no services. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Bollman was born on Dec. 18, 1951, in Muscatine, the daughter of Marvin K. and Iris M. Proffitt Burke. She married Dennis R. Bollman on Dec. 12, 1971, in Muscatine.

She was a member of the Writers on the Avenue.

Survivors include her mother, Iris Burke of Muscatine; two sisters, Sharon Hamilton and her husband, Richard, and Pat Brown and her husband, Bob, all of Muscatine; a brother, Jim Burke and his wife, Pam, of Muscatine; a grandmother, Hattie Proffitt of Muscatine; two nephews; four nieces; five grandnephews; eight grandnieces; and a great-grandnephew.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mabel Burke; and maternal grandfather, Frank Proffitt.
