Hi there, glad you stopped in. This web page seems like it is a great way to give a shout out and to stay in touch. Well, since you stopped I greet you with friendship and will share a bit about what I have been doing since MUSCATINE HIGH SCHOOL. Truth is, since I am usually with myself, I don't think about my story but would rather hear about yours. So if you take the time to read this update then please drop me a note or at least think about sending some love.
After High School
Ran away from home, with the encouragement of my parents. Strange they were pushing me out, I liked the nest. I did not last long on the run. Rather, I followed Sarah Brunson and Susie Foster to York College where I was ed-jew-ma-kated and worked construction while going to school. I should have taken a shops or welding class in high school, but nevertheless I learned a bunch and was able to travel the Mid-west working for a tunneling company during the summers and a local semi-truck maintenance shop during school. During school I was pretty much sunburnt and diesel fueled with no cash, but I was really good at digging holes.
Then I was able to share a Biggie Iggie (ice cream cookie sold at Casey's) with this hot girl that I had a crush on since pretty much forever. Well, lucky for me things were sweet, so Chandy and I became an item over the next few years. Having a girlfriend was good and especially her. I wanted to convince her I was not retarded, but that was impossible. She saw through me but accepted me and here we are today.
I graduated from College, shifted from construction to education and then decided to try flying. I looked at some options and became All I Can Be, Army of One, and Army Strong over the last few years. It has been love / hate and oddly enough good. In the Army I am an Apache Instructor Pilot. I really love my job, but not everything that comes with it. Where from here? I don't know, probably Movie Star!
I have two girls that are complete gifts from God. My girls are loving and they amaze me all the time. I really enjoy having daughters but probably treat them a bit like boys. I have them help me with my projects and they know their way around the garage. But they still come strong with the, "Dad I'm not dressed for that". How do you get past that stage? I am not looking forward to them growing up. I want them to stay young forever.
That is high school until present in a nut shell. Thanks for stopping in. Nate
