Love the rain...hope Class of '79 is not up to their arses (as the Brits say)in MUD this weekend!

BTW, anyone interested might note that this weekend is also the Dawn to Dusk Blues Festival in the little township of Rentiesville (betweeen Muskogee and Checotah)...Selby Minner and her late husband, blues great D.C. Minner, have created a world-class music festival. Marvelous blues men & women from around the globe convene on two stages in a huge cow pasture and creat often sublime music...Then, come one or two in the A.M., they move the music inside to a club setting. check out www.dcminnerblues.com if interested.

The Dusk to dawn Blues Fest is a real classic and hope to see some of you Friday night. I've gone for many years and always impressed with the music...and yes the crowd as well!

Got to go to the game and see C J, Julie Whitaker, Marry Reece and Jimmy Waldren. I think I saw Jill Lighter and maybe Cindy Barnnett and a lot of faces I knew but have loss that brain cell.
The Band was so small, but sounded good and I was able to get back to McAlester and catch my train that afternoon, so it work out great.
Kips wife, Kathy was there but did not see her.

I want to thank the band Kansas for thanking the class of 78 for having them there tonight. It was great....

No, Terry. Glad you had a good time.

Phil Earhart, the drummer for Kansas, lives just a few miles from me. I'll be sure to tell him, the next time I'm invited to one of his parties, just how much the class of 78 appreciates them.

We can have the Rolling Stones at our next party. They do private parties for a cool 8.6 million. If we're a little short on cash we can get Elton John for just under 5 million. The Eagles don't do private parties but we can get Joe Walsh for 2 million. I think we better get busy with bake sales and car washes.

Has there been any interest expressed in a 50th BD party? I personally would really enjoy that.
