Judy Briggs Johnson

Bacone Jr College after graduation from MCHS; worked as legal secretary for L Payton & J Leeds and J Leeds, after he was elected County Attorney. I married Kenneth A Haile from Tahlequah, OK 1962; Divorced May 1965.
Moved to Tucson, AZ in 1965. Employment includes Hughes Aircraft Co.; Tucson Newspapers Inc.; Amphitheater School District; Pima County Government; US Bankruptcy Court and US District Court-AZ. Retired in 2005 as Courtroom Deputy to Honorable Judge C Jorgenson-Federal Judge, US District Court-AZ.

Married J Mercer Johnson Jr 1968; resided in approx. six States due to husband's engineering position; traveled & enjoyed Europe; and, youngest son was born while my husband was working for ARAMCO Oil Co, Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia 1976. This was quite an experience thirty-nine years ago.
My youngest son, Mercer III, passed away in 2008 due to an accidental prescription drug overdose. He was the love of my life and I'll never be the same. Miss him so very much!
I divorced Mercer Jr in 1988 and never remarried.
I have six grand-children and three great-grand-children. My oldest grandson, Kenneth A Haile III, has made us very proud as an officer in USAF. I am proud of all my kids and grand-children
I now spend a large portion of my time in my home in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, on the Sea of Cortez. Beautiful place with retired Americans, Canadians and other expatriates.
My fondest memory of high school was my Debate/Drama Classes with Mr Gregory; was member of several class plays and participated in many Debate Tournaments. Remember winning Second Place in Houston Debate Tournament with Sandy Garrison as my partner. Susan Chesbro and I had same parts in "Our Town". The night of my performance, I came down with Strep Throat and couldn't appear. Parents wouldn't let me out of bed. I was very sick with high fever. Darn!
Also, I had a high school love who I lost due to my stupid behavior.
