The BIG CASINO NIGHT, has finally arrived. If you can make it, let me encourage you to come. We are planning to have a load of fun. Find your way to the Eldorado Casino, Shreveport, Saturday, Feb. 28. We will be in the Foyer Lounge between 6-6:30 pm. 7:ish we will move the party to the suite Wayne Griffin & Rhonda are providing and the fun will continue. Several classmates are bring munchies and it will be a great time to catch up before we hit the casino. After that its casino time till ......... Sunday morning we are planning to have lunch at the Eldorado Market Place Buffet around 11:30-12:00. If you can come for any or all the fun, please do. Remember, there are plenty of motels close to the casinos, and there may be rooms available at all the different casinos. Can't wait to see everyone, so grab the rabbits foot, your lucky rock, and BE THERE!!!!

Well, we had a grand ol' time and missed those of you who couldn't join us. And most of us are missing quite a bit from the old wallets this afternoon!
It is fun to hear those machines clanging and it was awesome to see some of our group.
Thanks to Wayne and his wife for allowing us to have snacks in their suite and to Cindy, Carol, Dian for bringing goodies. Thanks especially to Shawn for getting it all together!
Our next biggie is at Nick and Cris' on April 18 in Plano. Y'all join us if you can.
Lisa Steed and Susan Wakefield from the class of 75 have joined our site and are planning to come to the reunion and help us out at the sign-in desk etc. If you know of any other classmates from other years who want to join us, please send me their names so I can give them guest status on our site.
See y'all soon.
Oh and check out Drake's page for his pix from the weekend. The little guy may have had a bit too much of the champagne. He'll have to work on that to hang with the crowd for long. He told me he hit it big at the Black Jack tables, but somehow he didn't make it back to the room with it.

Fernando Noa III Well, I was about to leave $50-$60 down when, thanks to a tip by Theresa, I won another $130. So, YAY! Had a good time, it was great seeing everybody and I went home with a few extra $$ in my pocket! I'm looking forward to Nick and Chris's to-do.

If I’ve left anyone out let me know. As to accommodations we have a spare bedroom and Jansen’s room which has a loft bed with an upper and lower mattress. We also have a day bed (twin size) that we’ll put in the media room. Also, there are several hotels / suites that are close by and we would be happy to pass that info on if asked.

What I’m cooking:

Smoked pork butt (you know – there’s something about smoked butt that’s sounds appealing. It must be the butt part)

Smoked brisket

Grilled chicken

What to bring:

A side dish of your choosing

Whatever you want to drink

Anything else you care to bring

Okay, Cynthia, Drake is on his way to Dallas to join you on the cruise.
Be sure and keep him away from the single ladies in the bar. He has a tendency to buy rounds for everyone until his money runs out!
He may need to take some Dramamine--he's never been on a cruise. But I guess if he was okay in the Swiss Alps with Nick and Cris he should handle a cruise fine.
I hope he doesn't party too hard or have an on-board romance. I hear those animals they make out of your towels can be quite fetching to a bachelor Dragon.
Just sayin'.
He told me before he left that he is really looking forward to the weekend at Nick's. His request is that some meat be left raw for him. He will handle the scorching of his servings himself!

John Stewart said he’ll be getting a hotel, but might come in a day early. I’ll start working his tail off about 4:00 a.m. when I throw all the road kill on the smoker. John, bloody mary’s at 4:30 a.m.

Looks like we could possibly have close to 16 people there ;>)!
Hotels close by. Candlewood Suites, 4701 Legacy which is pretty darned close to the house. Also, there is a Best Western at E. Park Blvd @ Preston Rd. Also on E. Park Blvd @ Preston Rd is a Holiday Inn. The Ramada Limited is located on I-75, Central Expressway, at the Park Boulevard Exit 29/29A, and is also close to the house. Then there are the Embassy Suites located close by – this is Plano afterall. Let me know if you would like more hotel choices. Thanks
Again the Spring Fling date is April 18th at 3904 Woodlawn Ln. It’ll be a party.
