John Faria

My original name was Defaria. Upon joining the Navy I had my name legally changed to just Faria.

After graduation, I went o work for Christian Brothers Winery in Saint Helena, Ca. 1965 I joined the United States Navy. Naval Aviation VP Navy.1968 transferred to Helicopter squadron Two. I did 3 tours of duty Vietnam. I was honorably discharged 1969, I went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration, as Installation Mechanic/ Electrician. 1984 I transferred to the United State Department of Agriculture, Western Regional Research Center. As Stationary Engineer. 1989 to1995 I transferred to General Service Administration as Mechanical Work Inspector, Retired 1995.
