Since graduation from high school, I attended Napa College and played one year of basketball there until I was drafted into the US Army. I spent 16 months in Germany before discharge and then returned to Napa and college again. I received a Psych Tech degree and went to work at Napa State Hospital 32 years retiring from a forensic program as a Nursing Coordinator. Upon retirement, I moved to Grants Pass, Or. to raise my daughter in a smaller town as we knew Napa growing up. Since then, I joined the country club here and golf 2/3 times a week. My daughter is a sophomore attending Northwest Christian University in Eugene on a golf scholorship and I follow her as much as possible from Oregon to Washington to California in the fall and spring. I also volunteer tutoring first graders in math 4 days a week and have been with the same teacher for 14 yrs now. I often return to Napa to visit friends and golf but it's not the same Napa as we grew up in. That's some of my story and I'm sticking to it!
