Reunions
Dear Classmates,
Our rescheduled reunion is on track and we are now less than 3 months from the big celebration at the Sea Crest Resort in Falmouth! After all we have been through in the past year, it makes gathering with old friends and acquaintances even more special. The reunion schedule includes:
Friday evening – cocktails and trivia from the 70s.
Saturday day – choose from a variety of activities or simply relax with friends at the Sea Crest.
Saturday evening - the big celebration dinner dance.
Sunday morning - our celebration concludes with a send-off brunch.
The response has been terrific – in fact we sold all the rooms that had initially been blocked at the Seacrest, and we have procured additional rooms for the weekend-long event!
The invitation and pricing are attached. We don’t have email addresses for everyone, so please share this with any of your friends who may not have heard about the reunion and how to register.
Here is a sneak preview of what you can expect during Friday evening cocktails and trivia:
When we graduated, the New York Mets were the defending World Series champions, and the number one song on graduation day was “Everything is Beautiful” by Ray Stevens.
A first class stamp was $.06, a Hershey bar was $.15 and gasoline was about $.35 a gallon. And best of all, $.50 got you a hamburg and a coke at the lunch counter at Fairway!
We encourage you to book your room at Sea Crest and send us your registration form soon! That will help ensure you get a room at the Seacrest and it will be a big help to us with our planning.
See you in October (sounds like a song!)
