After graduating HS I went to Crowder for my Associates Degree. There I was involved in theater and vocal music. I had a blast and made some wonderful friends. The summer of 1991 I moved to Illinois where during the daytime I choreographed for a youth summer stock program and weeknights and weekends performed in a traveling show choir. I moved back to Neosho, then to Texas to spend most of my summer at the beach in Galveston. I moved to Joplin, then to Oklahoma City where I had a wonderful baby boy and later moved the two of us back to Joplin. (couldn’t get away) I worked as a medical receptionist for a few years in Joplin. I was also involved in Joplin Little Theatre as a performer and choreographer. During this time an old friend introduced me to an amazing guy. We married in Joplin in 2000 and later moved to his hometown of Wichita, Ks. I worked here in a medical office also. We had two wonderful daughters to complete our family. I couldn’t stay away from the performing arts, so I became a dance teacher. I am in my seventh year of teaching and loving it!!! Last year we started attending a new church that is perfect for us. They have an amazing children's program - I am having fun as a volunteer for the two-year old class. My husband enjoys his job as a supervisor at the cable company. Our son Taylor is really into sports and video games. Ashlyn also likes sports and will soon start horseback riding. Kylie loves to sing and dance. I have become such a homebody and finally feel settled in life. I am so excited to see everyone soon!!! Life changes, but that “high school kid” is always there. ;)
