KENNETH BOHANNON

1968: Graduated Indiana University, BS Chemistry
1969- 1993: Served as an officer in USAF
1973: MS in Management
1993-2000: Worked for Lockheed Martin
2000-present: US Dept of State, but will be retired by Aug 2014

Have lived and worked in 50 countries over the last 40 years. Linda and I enjoy, the grand kids, travel, biking, hiking, birding, kayaking, art museums, and civil war history. After turning 70 I have started playing tennis almost everyday and am surprised and pleased at how much progress I have made.

I remember Gary Kirk and I cutting school our senior year to attend the Indy 500 time trials. We both called the office on the way out of town and told them we were sick and our mothers were in the shower and could not come to the phone. We had a great time!
Dean Garret followed up and called our moms later and we were caught. He gave us the choice of a three day suspension with 10% off of each class for the semester or three lick with the biggest paddle I had ever seen. We took the licks and boy did they hurt! We never cut class again.
When we told our moms what had happened they told us we should have informed them and they would have covered for us.
