To all of you alcoholic's!!! LOL. My husband was curious as to why we were all standing around the bar at the 10 year. I told him it was because we have a sweet rockin class and we love to have a good time. His 10 year proved to be quite annoying when someone I met in 10 seconds looked me up and down and then asked me what I did for a living. My first thought was, are you kidding me, who the F--K are you? I just took it as a bunch of stuck-up wiener’s that were only concerned with people's W2's. I can honestly say that I am glad that everyone from our class is not really like that. I know that I did not participate in many activities and I regret it to this day but I still enjoy seeing anyone from our class no matter what. As a side note. I remember the first time I went over to Carl's house. Carl was dating Theresa Mullins. I think that was elementary school. Now she lives in my sub. GREAT.

That sucks when people are like that. I just don't understand how someone can ask what you do for a living or how much you make when they just meet you especially when they are looking at you like that! I don't think I asked my husband how much he made until we were married!! Thankfully enough, though, that was 11 years ago! Chris-too bad I never ran into you after h.s., you were always fun to hang around with! From what I can remember (alcoholic) LOL!!!

It's that song of the day time. A brief explanation of how I've picked the songs...I'm choosing songs based on which ones had a big impact on me in my youth, they may not have been big hits and they may not be everyone's taste. If everyone enjoys them, awesome. If not, hang in there, I'm sure there will be something you might like.

There was a request for something more rockin' in the song of the day and I'm happy to oblige. So today's song is a song that I first heard in 1984 on "The Young Ones". It's Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" and I even found the Young Ones scenes with them in it! I freaking loved Motorhead but I thought they were a punk band since they were on the Young Ones. lol. (Neither video is of great quality but the sound is decent).

That's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live forever! Gotta love Lemmy.

I love Motorhead. We just saw them last month with Dio and Judas Priest.
Yes, I still love to rock.
Sandy is here and we partied Michigan style last night while tying bows onto vases and playing the Wii!

Raise your hand if I didn't vomit in a sink in your house. Biggest kid in the class.....biggest lightweight at the parties. You'll all be glad to know I can hold my alcohol better now. So feel free to hang with me at the reunion. Unless someone breaks out the 2-liter wine coolers, then run for cover.

Kris- the first party I attended at the Pesta Castle was in 8th grade. I think Lisa Eggleston had peppermint schnapps in a tuperware bowl.

Hey Killer - Have fun this week! You deserve it!!

How do you all have such great memories? I am seriously starting to worry I have Alzheimers (I can't even remember how to spell it).

I remember silly things like having Government in the library with Mr. Plawecki and thinking he looked a lot like Gene Wilder/Willie Wonka. I remember meeting up by the drinking fountains before class. Passing notes in the hallway. Getting in trouble from Mrs. Teller for having a glass bottle in school and, ridiculously, almost getting suspended for it because I told that little troll that she needed a life...I mean really, kids were having dot day and I got in trouble for diet root beer. Pa-leez. I remember Tanya Skorina passing out in Trig (that was scarey).

People need to post more memories so it will help with my amnesia.

Hi everyone
Mike- yes it was peppermint in tupperware. Was that the end of school party? All I remember was lots of shaving cream & unfortunately for Bellhorn a pencil!!

Lisa, don't feel bad, I can't remember crap either.

Side note... I was talking about Wall of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio" here at work this morning and one of my coworkers starting singing it. About 5 of my coworkers had never heard the song before and one even asked if it was a real song. And then I realized that the song had come out in 1983 before all 5 of them were born. Oy, I feel old. lol.

Here are some memories for everyone...

In Spanish class we had to do these vocabulary skits so, of course, Skull and I used to come up with some off the wall stuff. In one skit I was in a restaurant and Skull was the very strange waiter. I don't remember all the details but at one point Skulls yells, "Mariscos!" (shellfish-if I spelled it correctly) and pretends to catch a bowl thrown from the kitchen and then serve it to me. Everyone loved it and later that day we got asked to perform it in several other classes (including physics).

The other Spanish memory is that 3rd and 4th year Spanish was combined so junior year we had all the seniors in class with us. Of course the seniors knew Skull's name but they just called me "El Amigo de Skull" (Skull's friend) so that became my secondary Spanish name.

Chris M.,
Great memory about Theresa Mullins. She was my first girlfriend in 4th grade. She was in third. I thought she was hot then! My sister was dating her brother Jeff.
Kris B (W) Yep, I remember a party on the lake, it was night around the bonfire, and one of us was chasing the other around the yard trying to do something to the other. It's a bit foggy. I have a story in my mind, but maybe slightly elaborated. I like the way I remember it.
Rambo the dog. He used to try to jump through the screen door from the garage to eat Jeff Murphy.

Sarah Riley (Goemaere)

I remember in History class (11th grade) Lea Bugbee and I used to do our tests in crayon and the the teacher Mr.Schmitindale sent her into the hall when she was about 7 months pregant. here she is with a big ole belly pulling her desk into the hall. God he hated her. I felt so bad for her. of course we did egg him on all the time.

Hi Wendy, glad you liked the alcoholic reference. I swear at lot of us have not changed at bit. Just older and better able to handle our alcohol. LOL. Yeah I was totally annoyed that this girl would ask me that. But that is Eisenhower for you. I am glad are reunions are not like that. I can't wait to party with everyone. Since I dated a jacka-- older guy in high school I missed all the fun parties during and after high school. I do remember a crazy party at Shutt's house on County Line where the police came with helicopter's and such. What a good time. But the reunion is a good place to make up for lost time. :)

Carl, if you saw Theresa you would recognize her. She looks fantastic but her attitude is the same. Her poor husband has no clue. Good times!!! When is the next meeting????

Tammy Munson (Scheuer)

Hey all, just catching up on the post.. Been gone for two weeks.. Anyway, I guess I missed the parties at the castle. I believe that's what happens when you park on the grass.. Sorry Carl!!!

On the worst job category (junior & senior years) - galley wench at Red Lobster by Lakeside. Still not a big fan of tarter sauce (you never know what goes in there). I was hanging out with the Utica & Sterling Hgts gang

Heidi -- Best wishes for a great wedding day!!!

Hey Sarah....

Poor Lea! But I wouldn't have put that past him, Mr. Schmittdiel hated me too, my daughter has him this year, I told her to make sure she doesn't tell him who her mom is, I cannot believe he hasn't retired yet....

Early Congrats Heidi!!! Celebrate 80's style--with a bunch of dots, honey buns, and wash it down with some wine coolers :)

Bellhorn, maybe you should start the drink of the DAY not week, at the rate I am going that sounds better I think someone has a voodoo doll of me, anyone want to fess up???

p.s. Kris B (W) Hold on to your hat your castle parties are right around the corner, my only advice is just be open, open, open!!!!

I will start with something basic
Corona or Corona Lt (since we are getting older and need to watch our waisteline) with a lime
But for a twist dont use a lime but fill the neck of bottle with Bicardi Limon and flip bottle over like with a lime
mmm pretty good

I might have to go have mexican now and a corona

Yes, the alcohol of joice back then was the wine coolers and Michelob. Or whatever you could get someone to buy for you. Remember playing the board game "Pass Out".

Congratulations Heidi.
