Hey Jeff, glad to see you survived another night on the mean streets of Royal Oak.

How is your cousin Bruce anyway? I haven't seen him since college. He used to live in that house right across the street from me. Lots of cool parties.

Kristi, thanks for the compliment on my daughter, she is everything I wasn't, love her to death.....

Was at a wedding last night and a girl said she didn't know what PYT stood for in Michael Jackson's song, I was appalled, it was one of our rollerskating faves..

Heidi, you were a bad ass and didn't even know it, I thought so too. Remember you used to do 100 sit ups every night? I will never forget you telling me that.
I guess Reggio still teaches at the high school, I loved his class, he always called me Amelia, I wasn't very nice to Dan Akers in his class, so Dan I apologize for some of the torture I caused if you are lurking as well.

I was at the new high school today, brings back memories even though it isn't OURS, I couldn't remember who our principal was and I know I visited him, I can picture him but don't know his name, anyone remember??

Also, remember dot day???

And, how you had to be a junior to be a camp counselor then when we became juniors you all of a sudden had to be a senior, then when we were seniors you had to be a junior again?? Sabotage, they hated us :)

Going to the Powderpuff game, Wayne Moore's daughter is playing too (the seniors don't know it yet but she already stole all of their Doritos) ha--Go Juniors!!!!

I ran into Mr. Reggio at one of the gay bars in Detroit right before I moved out here, so it was about 4 years ago.

He denied being Mr. Reggio of course and said that there was someone who was his twin that he was often mistaken for.

Mike - Ah, I didn't realize that where you are is so far. Yeah, I like Louisville a lot. Lee and I ride the bike down there when we can. The surrounding area is so hilly and beautiful with all the horse farms that it makes a great ride.

Oh, about the weirdest jobs... it's not necessarily weird but actually kind of cool. I was interning for a local graphic designer Tom Erlewine when I was a student at Ferris. His brother Dan is one of the world's premier guitar repair guys. At the time I was interning, Dan was writing a book on the history of guitars and ukulele's. So Tom was photographing major historical instruments and we had about $10 million dollars worth of very rare instruments in his studio including B.B. King's Lucille. It was freaking awesome and scary as hell. I was always afraid I'd drop something while we setting up the shoots. Luckily, everything was returned unscathed.

Heidi, Sorry for the dis at some point. What was the story? I remember hanging out at your house on the river way back with Todd Wood, Matt Nichols, and Michelle Faust.

Here's a good one. My sister is dating a 1st cousin of Mr. Reggio. My sister's beau's name is Dominic Reoggio. He has a gay brother. Who know's, maybe that's who you ran into Brian??

Star Wars vs. Star Wars. Weird eh? Tomorrow we are having a bday party for my oldest, and Darth Vader is making an appearence. The recurrence of Star Wars, and Indiana Jones is a riot.
Diane,
"Face" was hidden way back in my memory. What a riot.

Speaking of bad jobs...I worked at the Olive Garden in college, and these huge groups of pain-in-the-ass people would all want separate checks. It drove me nuts! I'd have to make notes for myself on each of their checks so I'd remember whose was whose. This one guy was really ugly...so my reminder note (supposed to be to myself) on his check was 'face'. I accidentally wrote it on the copy of the check that he got, and all his friends totally called me out on it. I studdered and stammered that he reminded me of a friend of mine whose nickname was face, blah blah blah...I still have nightmares about that. I was so embarassed. BTW, Carl, he looked nothing like you. You know I had a crush on you :-) I blame Diane for making up that nickname.

fellow classmates, your time to submit any entries in the contest is running out! i am headed to work now and am taking a list with me.... i will be narrowing this list down to 4 or 5 of my favorite entries and then putting it to a vote in the next day or 2 depending on when or if i make it back from vegas....

DUSTIN... you are on my list, your entry was not official as it was before the contest even started... yet it was catalyst for this fun contest... (mutual friends vs mutual funds)

okay, i have to go face the ro gaunlet.... every time i go to work this early on the weekend i get harrased by the cops for suspicion of dui... i always tell em the same thing... your a day late dude, you shoulda seen me yesterday....

Hey all... I'm thinking of doing a once a day song posting from our youth. Might be from any genre and from any year leading up to 1988.

Today's song selection (for Heidi - and yes I know it's from '83) is Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" in honor of her derby match last night.
