Amy Busby (Prestridge)

Mike B. - You are so sweet! You were so quiet in school, I never knew.

I live in Lewisburg, WV. We are on the opposite side of the state. My husband actually works in VA. We're about 15 miles from the state line. If you ever make your way over to this side of the state, you'll have to let me know.

Hey everyone, I just found out about this site. Over the summer I spent a lot of time trying to find out if we were having a reunion but with no luck. By July when we came back to Michigan to visit I figured we weren't having a reunion. Not sure if I will be able to make it to the reunion since we are supposed to have family coming out here from Michigan at Thanksgiving.

Check out my profile if you want to see what I have been up to. I am out of town for training so when I get home next week I will upload family photos.

Hi Chris! Great to hear from you! I hope you are able to make it to the reunion. It should be a great time. Carl has done a fabulous job of planning everything.

Looking forward to seeing your family pics.

Amy

hey amy yeah guess i am on the other side of state. I went to Weirton WV last nite to a rib place called Deejays. It was really good. West Virginia is really nice with all the hills n mountains. This is the first day I have had off in a while, maybe I will make it to one of the casinos and race tracks either mountaineer or wheeling island. So I was quiet eh, maybe shy and scared like everyone else, guess I wish I woulda of done more too. shoulda tried some drama.
hey amy was it you or one of your sisters that said me and chad hoover looked alike? anyone really think that me and chad looked alike?

hey chris you still talk to skull?

09/21/08 01:14 PM #51

Christopher Gellasch

I haven't seen Skull since college and have lost contact with him. Not sure what happened to him but I bet he is now a famous author (writing under a pen name of course) and living on his own private island...lol.

I live near Fort Lewis, WA which is about 45 min south of Seattle. We are near Mt. Rainier and are about a mile from Puget Sound so it is a nice area (except for the 8 months of rain). I am a Major in the Army and currently work as an environmental division chief.

Mike - I don't think it was me...at least I don't remember thinking that. But, my memory isn't the greatest so I can't say for sure:-)

Diane - You weren't the only one to work as a monster, I was a volunteer monster at the haunted forest the Fraternal Order of Police hosted for a few years out on 24 Mile in Chesterfield. I was a werewolf and would actually swing out over the crowd and scare the hell out of them (I was wearing a climbing harness with a rope attached to the higher branches of a tree). Well, we just would leave the rope every year instead of climbing the tree to take it down, so on the third year, I go to swing out over the crowd and the rope broke! Luckily for me, a couple of drunk girls in the front of the group broke my fall and didn't they didn't get any physical injuries either. I'm sure they probably still get nervous walking through the woods, though!

SHOUT OUT! I AM SOOO FREAKING SORE TODAY! We won our game, 1st half was tied and I was sooo pissed off at this dufus ref, so were all of the teams, we need refs that can count! Since we are the champs, we get really scrutinized. I was in the penalty box twice and my mouth was RUNNING on the rink. I am the biggest shit talker, the game is 80% mental 20% physical, you football players know, so I get to practice all my best profanity to psyche out those opponents!

I took the Biggest Bitch award for 2007 and I'm not about to release my title to anyone else!

We now go to the championships, the day after my wedding! ha!

I shreaded some bitches last night and it felt good. Threw one right into the announcer table, and a few into the crowd. Those young girls can't hang with me ;)

Jenn, so funny you mention Maiden, the dj was playing a lot of Maiden during the game, it rocked! Vaughn and I actually went to a Maiden concert in May ;)

Bellhorn, where do your parents live?

09/21/08 04:43 PM #55

Ok, Carl. Regarding the Reunion email that you sent, you do realize that all of us girls are going to completely ignore your message about not having to dress up and/or run out and buy a new outfit. :) I would guess that the shopping and planning has already kicked into gear.

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

True that, Jen! I did my part to boost the economy!

09/21/08 10:10 PM #58

Jennifer Schwab

Heck yeah, I'm all for any excuse to go shopping and this is a GOOD one!

I probably am not going to make the reunion, but I'd be glad to help out with music.

I have thousands and thousands of cds and mp3s, 12"ers, 7"ers, lps even 8 tracks! So I can send someone either mp3s on dvds or actuall music cds to play at the reunion.

Bummer Brian! It's too bad that you can't make it. I was hoping that you'd be able to. Hopefully, if you're in town for Christmas we can meet up.

Tracey Wolf (Feril)

Wow - if you go away for even just a day - there's a lot of catching up to do!! I'm still trying to come up with a 88 vs 08 comment.....

Just witnessed the end of an era. Last game at Yankee Stadium. I'm a sucker for tradition. Have a good week all.

Heidi Gipprich (Baldwin!)

That must have been depressing Carl... I was by there in January just walking around, looking at the old stadium (and new) as well as freezing my ass off.

I'm about 1/2 hour from AJ Bellhorn, my mom lives in Mesa, I'm downtown Phoenix by the Diamondsbacks ballpark.

Ok kids, today's song of the day is Killing Joke's "Eighties".

See if you can figure out what very famous 90's band ripped off the guitar riff.

Luckily I've never really had a bad job, though I've had several I hated.

Best job ever was working for a hospice. I was part of the team of people that started it, so I got to write all of the manuals and such, it was great.

Kind of miss being in that area now. I do hate working with sales reps all day :)

Martin Derenge

Hey Carl, Sometimes tradition is a bad thing. They used to bleed people to treat them in your profession! Did you actually go to the game, or watch it on tv?

09/22/08 12:29 PM #67

Jeffrey Murphy

JENI... cool video... love the 80s...

ummm.... sounds kinda like "come as you are" maybe?

09/22/08 12:44 PM #68

Jennifer Schwab

Jeff - yep, you got it! Killing Joke were pretty upset when Come As You Are came out but Nirvana was the biggest band in the world at that point, so it was like fighting Goliath.
