Way to go Jeff...
Jenn-was that inspired by Carl's 'come as you are' dress code email?...very clever.
Apparently, I had too much time on my hands this weekend, so I unearthed and posted some more photographic evidence.
Enjoy!

Oh my gosh Lisa... great new pics. What is with my brother and that pink freaking shirt??? And that one of the group of us where I have the cropped shirt on... I think the fashion gods wept that day. I'm so excited that you found the play photos though. And yes, that peach dress is the one that my mom found. If I can get back into that dress, it will be a happy day indeed.

Well Mike B. I sir, had a crush on you too! Back in I think 7th grade when you broke your arm. Isn't that too much?! You broke my heart.

Does anyone remember the school parties at Ruth Ramos' house? I am pretty sure we had a bash the morning of our graduation practice - and, if I'm not mistaken, we were all drunk at grad practice!

Hey Joey - do you remember that you and I went to homecoming together one year? I have pictures to prove it and prepare because as soon as I get them scanned in, I'm putting them on my profile!

Heather,

How could I forget. We unofficially named each other King and Queen a month before the dance. Too bad the rest of the class didn't see it our way. I also have pictures but chose not to post them (out of my own embarrassment). I have a lot of details about this time in my Journal.

Kristi Klein (Logghe)

Hey Heather! I remember lots of parties at Ruth's house!! Always a lot of fun! I don't remember that thing about graduation practice, but maybe because I was drunk!

How about parties out on Bethuy?? Anyone remember those? That road goes through Richmond and I pass it occasionally and always have flashbacks! Not that I could ever remember WHERE those parties were, but I'll never forget that road! There's probably a house or subdivision there by now anyway!

Can't wait to see pictures of you and Joey at homecoming!!

Heather Burbeula (Bade)

No way! Did we really do that Joey?! That is hysterical! I don't remember that, but I'm glad you have a memory of it. What do you have to be embarrassed about? That dress I wore was awful! I have to apologize, Joey - really, you didn't deserve that. In fact, I would be that dress was the anchor that held us down from winning the actual title!

Heather Burbeula (Bade)

Kristi - I do believe I also have pictures of the aftermath of the party...they may jog your memory! I just have to get those pictures scanned in. If you weren't at the pre-grad party, I'm sure you were at the Halloween party at Ruth's! That's it...RUTH is the one who got us all drinking!!

Hey Joey, are you going to share any of those Journal entries? :)

09/22/08 09:27 PM #79

Joseph Ales

Jen,

The journal entries are now 21 years old and don't really start to get going until early October.

Good Morning?? Yes, dot day, I remember Debbie Clapp? passing them out in tin foil in accounting class just like she was passing back tests to everyone....

Parties at Ruth's were the best, I remember one time being passed out upstairs and her sister came home and woke me up and asked me, "Amy, what happened here, who are all of these people"?? And, another time, someone "used" my fuck truck because the sliding door didn't work unbeknownst to them so it was on the hinges when I went to go home.....those were the days!

Lisa Banfield, who was your boyfriend in highschool? Didn't you go out with someone for a long time that was older than us??

Heather, do you remember being partners in French class and we had to do our skits back to back so we wouldn't laugh the whole time??

Happy Tuesday to all.....

Sarah Riley (Goemaere)

kristie,
my parents still live right down the road from where all the parties were on Bethuy. They aren't any houses right there. I think that property is too tarnished for anyone to buy. Sarah

Heather Burbeula (Bade)

Amy - oh my gosh - yes!! I remember the skits for Mrs. Pancoast. I can still remember a part of what we had to say, although I don't know what it means! We put that poor woman through hell! That was too funny!!!

09/23/08 08:12 AM #83

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

I just remember Ms. Pancoast wearing short skirts and flashing the boys in the front row. I wonder if they ever fully regained their eyesight?
Who remembers their french name?

09/23/08 08:27 AM #84

Jennifer Schwab

oh my gosh Lisa I was going to post that same thing. I remember that Ms. Pancoast used to leave one empty desk in the front row that she would always sit on and she always made sure to arrange the class so that a boy was the desk behind that one. LOL.

09/23/08 08:30 AM #85

Jennifer Schwab

So today's song selection in honor of Ms. Pancoast is The Waitresses "I Know What Boys Like".

Though sadly, what the boys liked was making sure it was some other sucker stuck in that second row seat.

09/23/08 09:48 AM #86

Michael Thompson

I can't speak for the boys in Ms. Pancoasts' class, but what guy didn't have a huge crush on Mrs. Butler?

09/23/08 09:59 AM #87

Jennifer Schwab

Mike, was she the English teacher who looked like Snow White?

09/23/08 10:01 AM #88

Kristi Klein (Logghe)

Sarah,

That is funny that your mom & dad still live down that road! I wonder if Bethuy is still a party spot for anyone? I remember spending some time out at your house in 7th or 8th grade! Didn't you have a bunch of animals?

Yeah, Heather, I think we should blame RUTH for our drinking! Where is she by the way? I don't think she's signed up on here yet. Someone get Ruth on here!

I loved Mrs. Butler. Though I had forgotten her name thanks for reminding me.

My favorite teacher hands down was Mrs. Lenhausen, she was extremely encouraging to me on all kinds of different things.

Hi Lisa (& everyone else, too!) Thanks so much for the response about my little girl, Alexa! She is sooooo much fun, I can't believe it. I love this age (2)!! Your kids are older, right? I'll have to check out your profile. It's good to be on here catching up! Have a good day, too!!

09/23/08 04:24 PM #92

Wendy Corneille (Lincoln)

Lisa Miller, My french name was Adele. I had Ms. Benedict, though. That class was fun!

09/23/08 04:51 PM #93

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

Wendy - LOL...I was Adele too!
I had Ms. Benedict for first year french. Why I took more than 1 year is beyond me. Does anyone else remember our exotic field trip to that french restaurant in the romantic city of Windsor? Oh well, our teachers tried.
