James Belt Big Game Day! I did not go to State or Michigan. Grand Valley is undefeated and ranked #1 again. Going for 4 titles in 5 years. Yes we are D-2, but still pretty awesome. In regards to the Big Game. GO BLUE!

Oh boy... it's going to be vicious on here today, isn't it?

I'm not so much for football. But for the hockey fans on the board, today is Super Saturday. EVERY team in the league plays tonight, including the Wings who play Chicago.

And tonight I'm heading down to our local arena to see our Cincinnati Cyclones raise their Championship banner at their first home opener of this season. It's a great day to be a hockey fan.

Go Wings! Go Cincinnati Cyclones!

Jason Emery How come I don't remember that so many of us that went to MSU? Maybe because I transferred there my sophmore year, or the more likely cause is the killing of brain cells. Or CRS. GO GREEN!

Jeffrey Murphy THANKS... i was trying to forget about that! yes, the keys were locked in the trunk with all of our beer and coolers and liquor... and the worst part of it was that we were in that apartment complex between my house and the school, (corner of callens and sugarbush) that was really dumb! see, these are the reasons i walk now.

Michael Thompson Jason- ABHS has a web site. I think that's where John ofubd the fight song. It's funny. They have changed the words to be more pc. Let me apologize to Sparty Nation. You got a W this year. One out of seven ain't bad. Good news for the Blue fans.....at least Ohio State lost too. Kris - really an OSU fan? I hate it when bad things happen to good people.

It is my job to point out, in case you others haven't noticed, but Spartans do not gloat. Not a single post, slam, etc to our counter parts. A lesson to be learned. Though I am proud of you Wolverine supporters: at least after this loss, there wasn't a bunch of whineing posted either. Jennifer Schwab Good morning everybody. And by everybody, I mean even all the lurkers. Today's song of the day is one of the best songs of all time. It's the Greg Kihn Band with "The Breakup Song" from his 1981 album Rockihnroll. If this song doesn't remind you of tight jeans and feathered hair, I don't know what would. Sorry there's no real video... but you can enjoy the song.

Michael Thompson Jen and Heidi- It's the calm before the storm. Everyone is back in hiding, looking for a new outfit, or putting in an extra workout. Anybody planning a pre-party yet? Is there a bar at the Book? Maybe a nice cocktail to celebrate Heidi's wedding?

Jennifer Schwab Mike, I don't know if there is specifically a pre-party planned. But I think a few people might be getting together for drinks before the reunion. I'll have to take some time before the reunion to wrangle my hair into a presentable human shape sometime before we head to the Whitney tho.
