WHO is coming to the reunion with their significant others that know no one.
I am.

Also, who is leaving their s/o at home?

09/24/08 03:49 PM #122

Kristi Klein (Logghe)

Mike T.,

YES, I did call 23 Mile Road city traffic! Have you been out that way lately?? It's sure a whole lot busier than the sticks of Richmond where I live!! I couldn't even imagine driving in DC or LA. I would probably kill someone!

I'll buy you a drink Chris as long as you help me pry myself out of my varsity jacket later that night......

Can anyone still fit in their varsity jacket?

Brian Wood

Heidi - I saw Anna on Remote Control, in fact somewhere I have it on video!

09/24/08 04:14 PM #125

Jennifer Schwab

Heidi, I'm bringing Lee but he has the advantage of at least knowing my brother and a couple of my brother's friends.

09/24/08 04:15 PM #126

Jennifer Schwab

Anna was on Remote Control? That's hilarious. I wonder how that happened.

09/24/08 04:24 PM #127

Brian Wood

The traffic on 23 Mile Rd has gotten horrible, it's easier to get around Manhattan in rush hour.

I don't remember the exact story, I believe they were filming at various campuses and ended up on hers down in Florida. And who can resist that Wilson personality!

Sarah Riley (Goemaere)

kristie
it would take me 40 minutes to get to high school. no wonder I skipped so much I got distracted by the drive and lost intrest. Richmond is a great area. 4 acres must seem huge! my parents still own 20 acres and my whole family goes there every weekend and we just sit. my kids think we are up north when we are there.

Sarah Riley (Goemaere)

can someone post the schedule for the week of the reunion? it seems to be getting bigger and longer. are we just bar hopping through New Baltimore now? I could ask my parents about having a good ole bonfire one night. of course we never asked permission before.....

09/24/08 04:54 PM #131

Amy Busby (Prestridge)

Mike T. - Don't feel bad. You weren't the only one who didn't take part in Dot day. And you have a point about enjoying school more with performance enhancing drugs:-)

Heidi - Tim, my husband, is coming, but he knows Carl and Jay and has met a few others at the last reunion. Nothing major, but enough to make conversation.

Dave S. - welcome to the message board!

I forgot about the ever revealing Pancoast, I remember cleavage and short skirts after someone jogged my memory that I was trying to keep buried very deep. Even sadder, wasn't her psycho son's name Christopher?? Please tell me I am wrong. How can I remember that? She talked about that kid for days. AND, my oh so clever French name was, drumroll please.........Ami

I will be at Homecoming Game Friday, my daughter dances at halftime, if you are watching she is the shortest blonde on the dance team, the poor girl hasn't grown since 5th grade!

Run DMC, great selection, remember "My Adidas", how about in junior high wearing sweats pulled up to our knees with high tops that couldn't be tied?? Or that store "Au Coton", I believe?

Happy Hump Day!

09/24/08 04:58 PM #133

Jennifer Schwab

Amy, I don't remember Au Coton, but I do remember Le Chateau. I always thought I was so sophisticated if I was able to get something from there.

HEIDI-

i am leaving my s/o at home... well, i left my s/o at home... well, i left my s/o with my home.... a long time ago.

hahahaha...

Mike- dont feel bad, i thought "dot day" was that day everyone walked around with a dot on their forehead... nope, that was ash wednesday and they were supposed to look like something... maybe a cross?

Carl will be posting the final list to choose from.... thanks for all of the great entries, OLCESE and SOPER... and MINKs stolen joke were all very hard to cut. I only put 5 on the list and thought I would say that these made me laugh pretty hard even though they didnt make it:

I'll be loving you forever vs Before he cheats
Praying not to become pregnant vs praying not to become a grandma
rolling your jeans over your ankle vs rolling your belly over your jeans

nice work guys and gals, now please vote! in my opinion this may be more exciting than bush vs gore, bush vs kerry, and obama vs mccain and with a lot less name calling....

Carl Pesta (M Pesta)

The survey is on! See 88 vs 08 on left column. vote only once. You can text your vote to vote at... just kidding.

09/24/08 06:17 PM #136

Jeffrey Murphy

7 votes already.... keep em coming!

thanks CARL for posting the survey... sure makes my job easier....

Contest 2 will begin today. to be eligible you must submit a vote to the current contest. (no, i have no way of knowing)

Contest 2 is called "NOMINATE"... this one will appear boring to most as it will NOT cause an influx of messages on the board....

how it works... If you know of a classmate that would really like to attend the reunion but is unable to do so due to financial pressures, please send me a PRIVATE message. my intent is not to embarasse anyone, but i would like to give my other ticket to someone who really needs it. you may nominate yourself, your friend, your spouce, or anyone that you choose. the results will be kept private (me, you, and carl will be the only ones involved)...

JOEY, you are ineligible, i dont want a message telling me how your million dollar home is only worth 800 grand or how the stock market is going to delay your retirement until you are 45... hahaha.... sorry, but its funny... (love you man)

the deadline will be october 11th.

if i get no responses, that means everyone is doing great and i will make something else up.

09/24/08 09:16 PM #140

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

Sorry Jeffy! That was payback for you turning me down when I asked you out in 7th grade. LOL

Jeffrey Murphy

Good morning Tars! Ready for today's song of the day? This song was the source of endless taunting for Jennifers everywhere (and people with the phone number 867-5309). You have no idea how many times I've had people sing this song to me...

Tommy Tutone's "867-5309/Jenny”

Enjoy!
