O'Regan, Sutter--Green Street sounds good for a pre game cocktail. Sutter buying sounds even better. Give me a call.

Sutter, please bring your varsity jacket, that would be a priceless photo.

Another contest?--Best or worst photo '88-present?

Carl Pesta (M Pesta)

Jenny, in regards to your song. It always reminded me of Nicole Cassisa's telephone number 725- 8675.

Tracey Wolf (Feril)

Carl -
Why would the Tommy Tutone song remind you of Nicole's number? Was there some sort of significance?

Jenn -

I love your song choices - on the radio here today they are playing one hit wonders - today's choice fits that category.

Tammy, thanks. But really all I'm doing is going through my iTunes. lol. The hard part is figuring which to pick since there's only 65 days left 'til the reunion.

Sutter by the way you remember that time at Ferris
I think we were partying at walters place

Jennifer Schwab

Jeff, I'm pulling in a pretty sad last place... lol. Though I always thought Stephanie's was the best anyway.

Heidi Gipprich (Baldwin!)

Yours was good Jenn! But kinda gross, I've never changed a diaper and am not sure I ever want to. Does that make me not normal?

09/25/08 02:13 PM #154

Jennifer Schwab

Heidi, me either. I just thought it was kind of funny since there are so many people here with soooo many kids! lol. None for me thanks!

Heidi Gipprich (Baldwin!)

at least, we can say that the Class of 88 has been having a ton of sex eh...?

88 vs 08
birth control vs. kid patrol

David Sutter

Thanks for reminding of that Bellhorn you jackass!!!! The funny thing is I didn't notice I had half of a moustache until later in the day....Damn alcohol.

Jeffrey Murphy

jeni- yours is great, it beat out some really good entries to even make it to the list and you are now only trailing by a few votes. i love MAKIs as well, cause it come out of nowhere and its the only thing he has said about it.

and drexler is funny! and who knew belt had a sense of humor?

I heard a song today on the radio and it made me smile and think of 88 vs 08

killing an arab (the cure)vs killing an arab (us marine cor)

09/25/08 04:20 PM #158

Jennifer Schwab

Man, so many people always mistook what that song was about that now when the Cure perform it they change it to "Kissing an Arab".

09/25/08 04:37 PM #159

Jeffrey Murphy

c'mon, thats not true is it? they should stop playing it if they changed it to that! that song was about the book "the stranger" and existentialism... how in the world could they say kissing in it? that might be the dumbest thing i have ever heard, yet i can understand how you might not want to play it on the radio as it could be misundestood or even sound bad in the current times....

i played it on a jukebox one time at a family resturant and bar.... and then laughed to myself as i watched the parents glare at the machine while it played... very funny. reminds me of the time i played 15 straight johnny cash songs at the bar and almost was hung by the cord of the jukebox...

09/25/08 04:41 PM #160

Jennifer Schwab

Jeff, problem is most people don't know that about the song and nowadays nobody bothers to actually learn anything. So I agree that The Cure would be better off just not performing the song.

09/25/08 04:57 PM #161

Michael Thompson

Well my friends, I'm officially retiring from the message forum. When Jeff Murphy is using "existentialism" in a post, I'm left at a loss for words. The Jeff Murphy I knew started and ended a sentance with dude. He posted drunken rants that sometimes didn't make sense. Where did this bizarro-Murphy come from?

And Joe, thanks for helping him with the spelling.

Jenn-Will you be putting together a cd for everyone? Available for only $4.50 at the reunion. Take that Brian! So far Jenn, all songs listed are already on my ipod.

If anyone listens to podcasts, look up "The Junkies". It's a radio show in DC on WJFK. It's four guys, class of 88, that grew up in my wife's hometown of Bowie, MD. They talk about the same dump shit that we've been discussing here. Worth a listen if you have the time.

09/25/08 05:00 PM #162

Michael Thompson

Did I say dumb shit....I meant pricless memories!

09/25/08 05:01 PM #163

Jennifer Schwab

Mike T. - I'll leave the reunion cd in Brian's capable hands. I'll just keep posting the song of the day to annoyingly get random 80's songs stuck in everyone's heads. Anyone get 867-5309 out of their head yet?

09/25/08 06:47 PM #164

Robert Majewski

Jimmy B., Chris and Dave and to whomever, if you guys are going for a pregame drink on Friday which I will not be able to make, lets all hook up at the Pump after the game, lets scout The Pump out to see if Robyn is going to host an afternoon or evening after the reunion???

09/25/08 08:04 PM #165

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

Hi guys! Whoever goes to the Homecoming Game this weekend, PLEASE take photos. All of us out-of-townies are very jealous!

09/25/08 08:12 PM #166

Jennifer Schwab

Hey Lis, do you have pics from when we made the float? I don't remember if it was junior or senior year.

09/25/08 08:16 PM #167

Robin Furness (DiMaggio)

Good idea Bob! I'll be there Friday night, I will be your happy server! Come in for a drink or two.

09/25/08 08:17 PM #168

Lisa Miller (Shedlock)

Didn't we make a float every year? I bet somewhere in New Baltimore right now, the Seniors are twisting chicken wire into some incoherent mass, and kidnapping a Junior to tie to the Anchor. Oh, good times!
