After NCHS I graduated Brown University and received an MBA in health care management from Boston University.

My career was hospital turnarounds. I probably consulted with or managed upwards of 50 hospitals in nearly every state over a 30 year period. I sold my company in 2007 to Huron, a publicly traded company and proceeded to start a bank in NH in 2007 and sold it to Cambridge Trust Company in 2019. I also photographed professionally. I now take care of my wife who is in her 13th year of Alzheimers.

january 2021: After 6 years of operations m second career job as founder of the New England Center for Photography at Camera Common in NH was closed. Covid did us in. I, as many, stay home to care for my family.

And having been a ham radio operator since I was 16, I still do that as well (KX1A)

March 2018 - we are in our 4th year of operating a facility that houses two galleries and resources for photographers to do their work (studios, scanners, darkrooms, printers, workshops, classroom). Of the many shows we have had here several have included some internationally famous photographers who have shown, visited and participated in talks (Paul Caponigro, Tillman Crane, Gary Samson, for example). There are few venues in NH that photographers can call home away from home, and this is one of them. www.cameracommons.com

September, 2013: I have just started another company called Safe Homes LLC with a trade name Safe Homes Real Estate. Its hard launch will probably be in Spring, 2014. It is a development and real estate company specializing in finding and modifying homes for people a bit younger than us, and maybe a bit older, who want to "age in place." The homes are designed to ensure one can stay independent in their own single family home or condo longer rather than moving to a retirement care community (CCRC). There is quite a market on the NH seacoast as the area gentrifies. Now with my NH real estate license - and soon Maine, and with a group of investors, I have to complete the certification for "Aging in "Place." Maybe I will move into one.

I have had 7 motorcycles in my past, the first was my motorized mini-cycle, called a Velo Solex. I drove it to school until a fellow student decided it was too nerdy and destroyed it as it was parked at the high school. From there it was bigger and bigger. I have stopped driving them at this point. I am not sure my reflexes are what they used to be and these autonomous Uber cars are probably programmed to aim at bikers. 2019: I am now riding an E-bike. Very cool. I easily climb tall mountains as my colleagues huff and puff behind me.
