During college, I was Drum Major of the Penn State Blue Band. First African-American DM in school history!

If you look real hard, you can see me tucked in a ball in the middle of the picture (i'm upside-down)...I had to do a "front flip" at Penn State football games. The tradition was, if the Drum Major made the flip, the team won, and if the Drum Major missed it, the team would lose. Luckily, I was a very good flipper!!
