I will be presenting for the Louisiana Landmarks Society on Wednesday, December 12 at 6 pm. The lecture is free and open to the public. I will sell and sign books after the lecture. I hope to see you there.

Bio: Professor Daggett's work has appeared in Louisiana History and Louisiana Cultural Vistas, and she was a speaker for the internationally-known Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival in March 2017 as well as the Organization of American Historians in April 2017 and the Louisiana Book Festival on October 28, 2017 in Baton Rouge. A native of New Orleans, Melissa Daggett is an instructor of United States history at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas
Hi Classmates: I will be presenting and signing my book, "Spiritualism in Nineteenth-Century New Orleans: The Life and Times of Henry Louis Rey (UPM, 2017) at Octavia Books on Thursday, June 28 at 6 pm. The book is now out in paperback. I hope to see you there. I will also be at Barnes and Noble at the Metairie store on Saturday, June 30 at 2 pm.
