Pete was the best friend I ever had. Pete, Vic, and I had so many laughs together and his passing was so sad. Pete and I maintained our friendship over all these years. In all the years I have known him both personally and professionally I never heard anybody say one negative thing about him. Pete was the life of the party, and if there was no party he started one! Pete was everones friend. I miss him very much.

By the way, if you don't know how he got to be called Pete, its because when we were kids his mother would call him by his initials, P D. (Patrick Daniel). When his mother called him for dinner or anything else PD sounded like Pete. The kids all called him Pete because of that.

Pete always had a sense of humor. The last thing he ever said to me was when he was in a semi coma at UMDNJ and I went up to see him. I looked at him in the ICU and cried. Wanting to say something to him I called hs name. To my surprise he awoke and looked at me and said only in the way he could, " Frankie, you look like a million dollars, old and wrinkled" That was the last thing he ever said and passed that night.
