I lost my very best friend several months ago-we grew up together and were "back yard" neighbors!   Barb was such a beautiful person whose smile was the sun of the day.  She had a unique personality and always loved the days when the " peace symbol" was popular - she had an artistic way about her, always making small gifts that I will cherish forever.  I miss her each and every day.  She is now with the people she loved and no longer in pain.  Her death was so sudden, but time will ease my sorrow.  Til we meet again- Love and RIP, Barb.

So sorry for your loss Jan, I was shocked to see that she had passed away so young.

Barb Loughman, Jan Van Atta, Kathy Logan, were all good friends of mine at Cherry Valley, many many years ago! I always though Barb was so glamorous a great looking, I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and for your  greif, Jan. I remember you were always close.

I was also shocked to read that Barb was gone from us and much too young. We were all such good friends growing up in our "hood" within a block of each other, Barb, Jan and me. Fast friends beginning in elementary school at Cherry Valley. Barb usually had a smile on her face and a sweet disposition. We competed with the boys in our hood: Greg Adkins, Dick Campbell, Dean Athan, and Tom Eastman, also gone too soon. I'm so sorry Barb and I lost touch in our later years. I will miss her.

I was so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing.  I remember her sweet nature, and that she was usually with Jan Van Atta and Cathy Logan.  I think we all started out together at Cherry Valley, and we all went on to have a lot of fun together at Woodrow Wilson.  I am glad you had such a dear friend, Jan, but am very sorry for that loss.

Grew up with Barbara and the Cherry Valley gang! So saddened by Barbara's passing. She will be remembered as a great friend and a great classmate! We had a lot of fun back in the day!

My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends!!
