Kimba, I'll be the corpse. Shoot, I'm almost there! Just promise to make my life in the story really exciting, okay? Any other takers?

Mitzi Carlson (Beckman)

I just went to the HOME page. You know the Bee Gee's kind off creep me out a little, I think I had an Album way back when. How did that become the # 1 song. And how appropriate after this reunion. The site administrator is having way to much fun !! Have fun at the Grocery store...

07/28/08 09:13 PM #17

Terri Nelson (Hubbard)

Appropriate indeed!!! hahaha!!
I'm off to the store! : )

Good job Terri. Although, I can't look at the youtube stuff because I have dial-up here in Croton....but I can check it out when I get to work....might as well do it on the taxpayers dime! But, I'm a taxpayer, so I guess I pay myself to use high speed internet!

07/28/08 11:38 PM #19

Kim Kimba Billing (Deleon)

Mitzi. Trying to tell us you "think you had an album (Bee Gees) way back when" - when you know darn well that you hauled it out just the other night to practice some disco moves before the reunion!

Hey, I was looking at some of the pictures I have, and I have to say that I look like someone's Aunt Edna or something....everyone else still had this youthful air about them, and I look like I took a night away from the nursing home to "dress up" and meet my friends. Ha!

Terri Nelson (Hubbard)

ohhhh stop, Kim. You look great! Wouldn't it be fun to be in the same nursing home someday?! Now THAT's some funny stuff! We could pay the nurses aides to take pictures...oh, never mind...wouldn't be that 'BIG' of a deal anymore, now would it! LOL!! No need for scissors (MOM) with digital cameras...just download, cut and paste, edit, resize...the sky's the limit. Know what I mean?
sorry. it's late and i'm getting punchy...
and talk about having your mouth wide open...did you see the picture of me that Mo took!??! oh my!

07/29/08 09:41 AM #21

Kim Kimba Billing (Deleon)

Terri, I like the scissors comment (wink) - and having the ability to "resize" - okay, I'll leave that one alone!

A nursing home rocking with Bob Seger, Peter Frampton, and the Bee Gees (for Mitzi) would be cool! Something to look forward to.

Hi Guys, Yes, back to the simple life of job, laundry, dishes and of course a game of scrabble with Kayla. No life translates to simple life. And that's not so bad, is it?????? Maybe that is the preparation for the jigsaw puzzles of the old folks home. Saturday night was fun, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. And I guess I was right there with Kim with my mouth wide open all night, the picture tells the story. The extras on the sight are great the fight song is a nice touch. I haven't seen any other pictures yet, are they posted or I may not be doing it right. I'm with Mitzi when it comes to computer, I do only the basics. Justin had to put my pictures on my profile for me. Anyway back to chores of the day. Paula

My secret is out... I'm a closet disco diva with no computer skills :D

Kim Kimba Billing (Deleon)

Paula, I kind of like that no life is a simple life theory. It's taken me two days just to get over being so tired from Saturday night! But, I have another party planned for this Saturday, so I guess I'm a glutten for punishment.

well, toss me my slippers and call me simple!! : )

For some reason, when I went on the HOME page, Bob Seger is sounding alot like Alvin the Chipmunk. I kind of like it.

Issues, Issues...! I'm working on it!
I know everyone wants to see PICTURES too...They are almost ready to post! I think you'll like the slideshow I've put together. Barring any glitches or emergencies or maybe me having to hang out with my cute little grandaughter, I should be able to get them on tonight or tomorrow.

Way to go Terri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maureen Pendergast (Madrid-Wilson)

GREAT JOB Terri! Can't wait to see what other people have for pictures! I thought this would be the LAST reunion. now I'm thinking we should have more down the road...I'm game if you guys are...maybe we can get more people to come next time!

07/30/08 08:15 PM #31

Mitzi Carlson (Beckman)

That was fun. A great song too!! I revisit all those smiles and think what a great time it was. Kelley said her cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Now that's the kind of pain we should all suffer more of!

Paula Hanlon (Veneklase)

Here's a challenge..... set a date for the next reunion and have the clock on the home page do a count down to the next reunion, could this be possible????? So, all you computer geeks out there see what you can do.... and that wouldn't be me as I'm out of the closet w/ Mitzi.... And I hope I don't have to twist Kelly's arm for the next one. It was a great time and I will have some vacation time or a personal day by then....so I don't have to leave early. Terri the picture show is great...let's keep this going..... Paula

07/31/08 07:26 PM #33

Terri Nelson (Hubbard)

Yup, the countdown clock would be very easy to do. All I need is a date and the rest is simple...believe it or not. But, then if you knew how easy this can be, you'd quit being impressed and complimenting me...can't have THAT now! I'm glad you like everything, Paula. Any other ideas??

FYI.... I am reading the GR Sunday Press and there is a nice memorial for Mandy Meengs, from her mom & sister. 7/30 five years ago. Scripture & a nice picture.

Mitzi Carlson (Beckman)

Thanks Paula for the info..I'll have to pick one up.

08/04/08 12:55 PM #36

Terri Nelson (Hubbard)

If I I could get a copy and scan it, I could put it on her Memorial page.

08/04/08 02:02 PM #37

Paula Hanlon (Veneklase)

I did cut it out, did Mitzi get a copy? I could send you mine. I could fax it. So get me a fax # or address. That is a good idea. Terri, your such a computer wiz..... Paula

08/04/08 11:35 PM #38

Terri Nelson (Hubbard)

If I told you how easy it is, you wouldn't think i was a 'wiz' anymore!! so, I won't. hehe
It would be awesome if you would be willing to get me a copy. you could Fax it to me at school at 231-652-3500. I won't be back to work for a couple weeks yet, but I stop in quite often. I'm hoping to get our tech guy to add this link somewhere under Alumni on the new website he's working on. then they'd have direct access to the school website too and any alumni activities that might come up.
