Karen G. Devries, 70, died Nov. 30, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She had been fighting severe arthritis and dementia for some time .She was born July 18, 1944, in Newton, the daughter of Clarence and Estella McGee Perry.
Survivors include: her children, Jean Parker of Hutchinson, and Jason Hanke of Wichita; her sister, Sandra Walton of Wichita; three grandchildren, Brandon Royston, Nicole LaGree, Lutisha Davis; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, William Harrist; a daughter, Shawn Remington; and sister, Betty Baerg.

So sorry for this news. Used to we went to wedding's --now it's funerals!!! But at this age it is what it is. Prayers to her family and friends. Just barely remember Karen as she was in just one of my classes in school. I have tended to remember the one's I was in classes with. She was one the true beauties we had at NHS. She was a beauty inside too!!!
