I was playing golf last year at this time.  Oh well, maybe next month.

I remember the 80s & 90s, when our young families depended upon wages earned, and realize how so many of them are currently bravely struggling and hoping in such an unsure arena...  Today, I feel lucky to be one of the 'old'.

Couldn't agree more, Sam.  I was expressing the same sentiment to my wife last week.

Live on the Front Range between Boulder and Denver. We are in the 70/30 weather. On day its 70 the next its 30 with snow.

Hi Bill - Cicero must be on the other side of your 70/30 pendulum arc, at about 30/60.

Rocky, stay in AK for a while, as your golf courses may open before ours.  All Onondaga County courses are officially closed due to covid....and now a Bronx Zoo tiger has reportedly developed a CoViD19 strain.  Yikes!

Today will be mid-50s and sunny.  I'll take it!laugh  Enjoy the day gang!!!!

Nice snowman Jim! Did you learn that at Oswego in the I A curriculum? Hope everyone is safe and healthy! Glad you finally remembered your password Bill! It was over 60 here today but snow predicted forFriday morning! Schizo weather! Hopefully this crisis will wind down as summer arrives.
Best of wishes and love to all!

This was the scene at my house in Kirkville, 2 weeks ago and unfortunately, snow is expected at the end of this week. It was near 60 today and sunny today with another good day on tap for Tuesday.

Might as well be sheltering in place if winter is returning.

Hello everyone.  I have been keeping busy with moving Carol's furniture refinishing hobby into her new "She-Shed".  So now, finally, I have the whole garage to myself.smiley I have been bulding shelves, tool cabinets, and will be painting the garage floor.  I'm almost done.  I now realize that I have used almost every tool I have to create a home for tools that I will likely never use again. wink   Busy work.  All the best everyone.

Mark It was so nice to hear  from you. Sounds like you are keeping yourself busy, doing things that you were probably putting  off.  Nice that Carol finally has her she-shed ! I finally got a deck on the back of my house  off my diningroom. It's taken 15 years ! I am also keeping busy having to teach my 2 grandsons as our schools are closed. They have been living with me for a year & 3 months now. I never thought I would be in a position where I was home schooling. The closest I've ever come to being a  teacher was when I taught or assisted in Sunday school & working at a nursery school many years ago, about 47 .  Take care Mark & hope all your family stays well.

Donna

I've been bored so I've doing computer animation.

First in a series of 12.

Some of you may remember that I did cartoons for the Northcaster under the sometimes-disapproving eye of Mr. Malamud.

Anyway, it's legal here in Washington State...

Ugh! Enough of winter!

Now that more of you are using this forum, please check out the first page. Find the 18th post. Let's see who can guess who is in the picture? Hint. Several are on this site.

That's a tall order.  I think I recognize one of them.  Short dark hair just right of center - Nick Toreo?

Mr. Von Pless is correct...

Now, as for that picture...tough one, indeed.

So far Rocky has one right!

At first glance, I thought it was Father Flanagan's Home for Wayward Children, but a few slides later it looked like John identified almost all the likely suspects.

Glenn Gartland

referring to that picture....

Mr. Vincent is front and center, standing.  I think that is John Clark to his left and the Bob Paganelli in front of John.  The guy to the lower right looks a little like Frank Rockwell but I don't think it's him.

Anyway, it's nice to see the chatter as we approach our 50th and hope to see a lot of folks.  I plan to make the trip from Cincinnati.

04/12/20 02:21 PM #339

Kevin McKown

Here's my shot at the photo...clockwise from left:

Randy Kires, John Vincent, Nick Torio, Dave Soderburg, Bob Peganelli and Bruce Beal all Roxboro classmates. I can't tell on the girls. A friend recently told me I still remember where I left my retainer in 9th grade. Problem is I don't remember if I took my tylenol 10 minutes ago.. lol.

John, wasn't this the night we went Christmas carolling in North Syracuse? What was the name of the coffee house on South Bay behind the Church where the photo was taken? I always thought I'd see Maynard G. Krebbs there.

Well I cheated, I'm disqualified !  I scrolled down from the picture  & see that John identified people in the picture.  The one standing in the middle I did think was John Vincent. If they all attended  Roxboro I didn't have any aquaintences from there, I attended  Bear Rd. & Gillette Rd. Middle & NS until Cicero opened.
HAPPY EASTER !!!!!!!

Kevin, You-are right. It was after caroling! The place was called "The Bump".
will not tell yet who everyone is other than some people are right about a few! One hint. A frequent poster is in the lower left corner! Also one other person besides me has a last name starting with V. I think Nick Torino had on one of our polka dot band shirts! Lol! Imagine trying to remember one night in 1966! Hope everyone is staying healthy and enjoying Easter as much as you can!

Nicholas Torio

Hi everyone. this is my first post. I spend most of my time working just a little and most with grandkids, helping with homework or taking the boys on the bassboat fishing or riding snowmobiles if we ever get good snow.            I think Kevin McKown got the names in the photo and he's the only one that spelled my name correctly. I don't spend much time online, but will check in a little more. I'm fortunate to still be kickin  after Vincent and McKown got me started playing drums in our first band. Great fun and led to manny years playing. Glad to see so many still doing well.

Randy Kires

Good eye Kevin....that's definitely my sweater...and Nick's signature hair cut.  By the way, check your Mom's basement for my Cub Scout Knife.  I think I glued it to the bar when we were making macaroni Christmas wreaths.

Be careful on the snowmobiles Nick, you were always a bit of a maniac on that Mini Bike of yours.  And who can forget the awesome Dodge Dart?
