Pamela,

The sign up was only to reach a ball Park number for Borios. Not sure why a couple names did not get added.

Out of 100 people it has only happened to three. Maybe you signed off before it was finalized? Be sure to answer the survey again and see if it works.

No matter what, everybody is welcome and I encourage everyone to spread the word! No sign up is necessary.

Hoping for nice weather because Borios has a nice outside area!

John

I am preparing nametags for the reunion. If you would like to have one for your guest(s) or if you would like your nametag to reflect something different than the member name on Classcreator.com, please provide the information to me by 9/15/21.

Thanks,
Denise (Bagley) Bliss

Just confirmed with Borio's for next week.

Great news! We will be in the Sunset Room downstairs. It has a nice outside patio. It is where we have had the other reunions and it is perfect if the weather is nice. So bring a light jacket just in case. The interior room is also big enough to keep us from being overcrowded!

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Be sure to reach out to others and encourage their attendance!

In reading Missy Domres' list of events, I would plan on attending the Clay Historical event in the morning and head to Minoa in the afternoon. I'm assuming there is an arts and crafts show indicated. Although I have no artistic skills, I enjoy supporting those who do. My husband thinks this simply means doing some shopping. We are in Cape Cid this week, but are coming into Syracuse Friday night, staying at a Super 8. Also many thanks to John for his perseverance in organizing all of this.

Nice evening for some Friday Night Lights. I took a drive up to Cicero for the CSN football game. Haven't been to a h.s. game in 20 years!

I really enjoyed the 50+1 day at Borio's and seeing all of our classmates.  It was a little bittersweet knowing that Borio's will be changing hands.  But things change (not any of us; we all still look like we did at school).  Again, big thank you's to Marty,John, Frank and everyone else who planned and coordinated everything.

Best wishes,

Glenn

A big thanks to John and the entire committee for all their time consuming work. It was a beautiful day for the event and I enjoyed seeing so many of my NSCHS classmates and re-meeting many C-NS students. As Glen said, it's sad to see Borio's (& so many familiar businesses like Hinderwadles) changing or closed. But as the Beatles song goes: Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, life goes on, bra! (Or maybe nowadays, "Bruh").Hope to see everyone again in

Hey everyone.  I am sorry to have missed the 50 + 1 reunion.   Peggy Hewitt sent me some pics which I greatly appreciated. Thanks Peggy.  If anyone else has pics, please share them on this website if possible.

John, thank you for your decades of hard work in keeping us together.  Without your commitment, this event would not have taken place.

My very sincere thanks to John, Rocky, Denise, all those behind the scenes and especially the Borio family for our classes FABULOUS 50+1 Reunion this past Sunday.  In addition to getting a replacement CHS yearbook which made my whole weekend, the event and location were simply spectacular.  So very nice to see so many of my classmates and NSHS buddies and catch up as the last reunion I was able to attend was our 15th!  Great food, great conversations, loads of FUN and just an awesome afternoon.  THANKS AGAIN and looking forward to our 55th!  John if you could please set up a menu item 50+1 Yr. Reunion pics I have around 18 that I'd love to post.

What a perfect weather day and an even greater reunion.  John and so many others that worked on this event, thank you all for making this happen.  It was so nice to see so many people that I worked with  (The McDonalds Golden Arches!) or was friends with in high school.  I look forward to any planned future events.  October 6th, 2021 is my retirement date from the plastics industry, and roughly the date that I will increase my engagement with the American Red Cross. The needs are great.  Having worked out of Orange, Texas many of the folks I worked with lived in or around Lake Charles.  All of the blue tarps STILL on the roofs there are easily visible from flights overhead.  Thanks again CNS team for all of your efforts!

After a couple weeks of reflection, I want to give out a few thank yous.

Thank you so much to Denise for the name tag project. It proved to be very necessary! Lol!

Thanks to Frank for such a nice speech and for keeping it short!

Thanks to the Borio family that hung in there with us and provided the perfect venue for our celebration!

Thanks to the CNY weather gods for providing us such a perfect, sunny day!

Most of all, thanks to everyone that attended! Many traveled great distances and many overcame great obstacles and concerns. It was so nice to see all the old familiar faces as well as newcomers to the reunion scene.

We all share a unique history and a bond that is everlasting. Two high school graduations but one history and one heartfelt connection!

Take care everyone and live everyday to the fullest!

Let's start planning the next reunion ASAP!

Fins up!

John

Halloween always makes me remember how great it was to grow up in the Village of North Syracuse.

The streets would fill up with kids shortly after dark and vey few parents were outside. It was always a night to remember!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and enjoys thinking back about past celebrations!

Just back from Key West and experienced some Fantasy Fest celebrations. That is the lead up to Halloween on the island. Completely different than our traditional experiences for sure! Check that off the bucket list!

Stay safe and keep smiling! Life is good!

fins up!
