Thanks again to all for your kind words.

Special thanks to Marsha Scott Petrie, Frank DiOrio and his wife Nancy for all their help.

Also Mike and Kathy Rose pitched in at the sign in table.

Have already started to think about our next reunion. Any suggestions and comments would be great!

Stay in touch and please share any pictures you have.

Peggy, you are so kind.  It was great to catch up with you as always.

John and all who were involved with the 45th Reunion, thanks for all your work.  It really is great to catch up with people that we don't get to see very often.  Looking forward to the 50th.

Boy, I was so sorry to miss the reunion.  At the last minute a family crisis occured that took me to Massachusetts.  Maybe life will be simpler at the 50th.  It's sounds like you all had a great time.

I can track hits to the website and we are over 20000 hits!

Lots of people are checking in everyday.

Thinking about sponsoring a contest.

The person that is the 30000 hit will get a free pass to the next reunion!

No administrators are eligible! (Sorry Mark and Frank!)

Keep those pics coming. Just hit the 45 year reunion tab!

Great pictures Karen!

Hope Kyle and Ryan enjoyed themselves. Was nice to meet them.

Thinking that for the 50th we will have a family picnic. We can hire those guys to sing at it!

I was sorry I was unable to make our 45th reunion this year.  This would be the first one I've missed.  Loved seeing the pictures of everyone!  What a beautiful day it was too!  John, thank you for keeping this going for all of us and hopefully we will continue to find more and more classmates to join us for the 50th!!!!   See you all in the year 2020!!!!   Diane Bauersock Coots

Maybe if everyone that was present this last reunion found just one or two more lost classmates, we would have a real barn burner for our 50th!

Stay safe and healthy!

John

For those of us unable to attend recent reunions (especially 45th 😕) could classmates posting photos here please include NAMES?  It's been so long for me (25th was my last but looking forward to 50th!!) that I can't recognize/identify them.  Thank you all!  Sandee (Cassano) Brown Cape Coral FL

Thanks Karen!  I guess our memories aren't what they were 😕.  Others who've posted pics (some) also didn't include names either.  For me everyone looks vaguely familiar but I can't identify LOL 😉.  I appreciate your reply.

I know there are more pics out there on everyone's phones, etc.!

Let's get them posted asap. If you are having trouble let me know.

Do you think it is too early to set the weekend for our 50th?

I was always an optimist!

Thanks again for all the positive feedback.

I don't think it's to early to set a date. Some people did not attend this time around because of prior engagements because they didn't find out about it until other plans were in place. This would also give people time to contact others who may not be on this site or other social media. I say go for it. The early bird gets the worm, or in this case the party! Lots of time for feedback also. Bounce ideas and pick the best or most popular. Let's make 50 the best and most fun ever!

Does everyone like the summer date for a reunion or should we consider another time of year?

Some reunions take place around Thanksgiving?

Thinking the 50 th should include several events. Let's open this forum up to that discussion.

I am thinking a whole weekend of events. (Party, banquet, clambake, family picnic, dinner dance?)

Please chime in!

Keep it in summer. Everyone does not still have family in Syracuse and want to be with their families around the holidays

I'm for keeping it the summer and several events over several days.  By our 50th, there won't be many of us that have a conflict with our work schedules.

I agree with holding our 50th in the summer.  A clambake sounds like fun for the main event and maybe the night before a get together like our 40th where it was opened up to all classes.

I am for the summer also. Eileen's suggestion is great. Add some steamed corn and salted baby potatoes in butter and it will.feel like the old South Bay field days.

Summer sounds great.   I plan to be there this time, I think the last one I attended was 20 or 25th.  I'll block out the weekend as soon as I hear what date it is.  Sounded like this year was a great time!  John thanks to you for all the organization and planning you put into these events.  See you then.

I agree with everyone summer is the best , and in July I like the idea of a clambake . If it gets started now hopefully the word gets out and there will be. A larger turnout . Thanks John for everything you do .

I am in agreement with keeping it in the summer and Chuck does have a great facility but allso a clambake would be fun Spinning Wheel also holds clambakes thanks John

I agree with keeping our reunion in the summer and definitely a three day event for the 50th.  A clambake for the main event sounds great with a get together the evening before at Chuck's and maybe a picnic the day after at the lake. Anything anywhere will be great however.  John, since I still live in town I would be happy to help get things organized. Let me know when the final decision is made as to what events to have for the weekend and I can help with contacts, scheduling, etc.  Everyone, keep the great ideas coming!

Clam Bake would be fun as long as the price isn't too high for people that don't eat clams....like me!

I agree with everyone, keep it in the summer. When I drove past Hinerwadels  after our reunion, I was thinking it might be nice to have a clambake for part of our reunion. It's one place that's still in business of our "growing up days " . Getting together the night before would be nice too, even with the classes of 1970 -1983 I had siblings & neighbors as well as some fellow classmates that graduated in those years. If we start working & planning it now we'd have a better chance of finding fellow classmates. To me class of 1970 was a large class & it would be nice if more of us could get together & celebrate.

Please remember when planning our reunion to make sure it is handicap accesible, I know some didn't attend because they thought it wasn't very easy to get around. I hate to say we are getting older and many of us (including spouses) are not able to get around as good as we use to. Sometimes we forget !

Wishing everyone a nice day !

The 2nd week in February might be too challenging so I vote for mid-September..it's beautiful and perfect weather at that time. A clam bake is a great idea!
