School Story
Moved to West Wilmette from PGH, PA late August 1973 before the start of freshman year; was all of 4'11" and maybe 98 lbs soaking wet, knew nobody, but was a big talker and a fast runner and pretty smart so made some friends, eventually grew, got too cool for school: precious time was simultaneously wasted yet never the less well spent, and I am a better person for having graduated from New Trier West with our Class of 1977.
