Judy Leary Scoville Compton had been teaching 1st and 2nd grade at
Beye School in Oak Park for 33 years until taking an early retirement
in 2001...She now works at the front desk of the Oak Park Housing Center
on a part-time basis. Judy has been married to Bob Compton for 30 years
and continues to live in Oak Park. She is definitely a "native" Oak Parker.
Judy has also continued singing throughout her life. She sang with the
William Ferris Chorale for 30 years and now sings at the Unity Temple.
