Cynthia "Cindie" Renowden Hagen passed away April 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife of David, loving mother of Kelly Connelly and the late Mark Hagen. Cindie attended our 50th reunion, and connected with many old friends and classmates.
I was saddened to hear of Cynthia's passing. We were close in HS and I was fortunate to reconnect w/her at last year's reunion. Her effervescent personality immediately reminded me of those wonderful HS good times together. We reconnected on FB, sent msgs back n forth, but I didn't phone her as I meant to in the past months to really 'catch up'. Never put off tomorrow what you can do today. She was a strong woman who overcame personal tragedy and fought her illnesses. This week I think G-d needed another angel. Bless her selfless heart and may loving memories be of comfort to her family and friends.
My sympathy to Cynthia's husband and family at her passing. Cynthia and I were in the same homeroom. When she came to the last reunion, I learned that her son had died as a child and how Cindy and her husband had made it a life purpose to honor his memory by educating parents regarding child safety.
At our 50th reunion, Cindi was one of the first people to greet me! I remember her from homeroom as a very friendly person, so it was obvious to me that nothing had changed. I was very moved by her family's work toward safety for children after the loss of their son. My sympathy and prayers to Cindi's family as they mourn her loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Cindy's husband and family. May they recall wonderful memories of
Cindy to help them through this very sad time.
