Hello, Class of 1976!

Our 50^th reunion is coming up quickly, July 10-12, 2026!!

Make your reservations now as our website is live to buy your tickets to attend! Our committee has been working diligently to put on a fun, memorable event to commemorate this epic milestone!

This website is the official mode of communication for our reunion and any other class-related news. Please take a moment to set up your profile if you haven’t already done so. There are easy to follow instructions that allow you to decide which of your information you wish to be visible to others, and which remains private. This is a great way to let classmates know what you've been up to for the past 50 years! Please feel free to create a profile and interact on the website even if you are unable to attend the reunion weekend!!

Please be aware that joining this website and creating your profile does not register you for the reunion events. You must register for the reunion after setting up your profile, by going to the "50^th Reunion Information and Registration" link in the bar along the left side of this page (2nd option down from the top). This link has all the details and registration information for the activities during our reunion weekend. Please note that we need you to register for all the events you will be attending - even those for which there is no charge, so that we can plan for numbers.

We have reserved a block of rooms at two different hotels at a reduced rate for Friday and Saturday nights. Details on where, how much, and how to register are on the registration page.

Friday night, July 10^th. Kick off the weekend and get the party started! Join us for a meet and greet at Craft Breww City, 27843 Orchard Lake Rd in Farmington Hills beginning at 7:00 p.m. This is a drop-in event open to alumni, significant others, and friends, including graduates of other classes. Light appetizers will be served. Everyone will be responsible for payment of any additional food or drink they order. PLEASE NOTE: If you have paid the $125 pp for the weekend festivities there is no additional charge for this event. If, however, you are NOT attending all the weekend events and would like to join us on Friday (we hope you do!), there is a charge of $10 per person to cover costs. You may either send in payment ahead of time (Paypal, Venmo, or check to Lyle Schaefer), or you may pay at the door. Even if there is no cost to you, PLEASE register for this so we know how many to expect.

Saturday, July 11^th-The Main Event!  Festivities will be held at Edgewood Country Club, 8399 Commerce Rd in Commerce Township, MI beginning at 6:30 pm. A buffet dinner will be served. Expired lunch tickets will NOT be honored! Come test out that new knee or hip while you rock out to the DJ, create memories at our photo station, and more! A cash bar will be provided. This event is open to alumni and their significant others/+1s. There is a cost of $125 per person and you must be registered and paid by the response date indicated. We will not be able to accommodate registrations or payments at the door. The venue requires a count several days before the event, so please understand that we cannot accommodate people after the registration deadline. Sunday picnic, July 12th Continue (and conclude) the party at Drake Sports Park, 6801 Drake Rd, West Bloomfield, beginning at 10:30 am. Coffee, bagels, cream cheese, water bottles and some other snacks will be provided. Any other food or drink is self-hosted (bring your own). This event is free to attend for 1976 alumni and their families. If you know you will be attending, please register so we can plan for numbers. If you are unsure feel free to just show up! We hope you will join us!

**If you would like to attend the reunion but finances are a barrier, we do have some funds available to help offset the cost to make it easier for you to be there! Information on who to contact is on the registration page that will be visible once you join the website. Please rest assured your request will remain completely confidential!!

Payment can be made in advance one of three ways:

1. Paypal - send your payment to https://paypal.me/OPHS7650th. Be sure to click on the pay "friends and family" link, NOT the payment for "goods and services" link to avoid a service charge.
2. Venmo - @Lee-Adelson-1
3. Send a check made payable to Lyle Schaefer to 30470 Oldstream, Southfield, MI  48076.

For any of the above forms of payment, please be sure to indicate the name(s) of those for whom the registration is being paid, and whether it includes any additional funds for sponsorship.

One last request – We want to have as many classmates attend this event as possible. If you happen to know any missing classmates’ whereabouts, as noted on Facebook postings, please contact them, direct them to this website to sign up and create an account, and encourage them to register and purchase a ticket to our reunion!
