Julie Benedetti Holt ’60 passed away on November 30, 2017 of renal failure. Classmate Betty Masar Wilson visited Julie during her last several weeks and reported that Julie was heavily sedated with morphine and slept for much of the time. However, on the Monday before she died, Betty said Julie was totally different and described her as awake, smiling, laughing, talking about so many good times and thrilled to see her visitors.  Three days later, she was gone. A memorial for Julie Benedetti Holt will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Saint Theresa Church 30 Mandalay Rd., Oakland @ 2pm.
