Military Service: U S Marines Embassy Guard Somalia and Finland
Comments:

After high school, joined the Marines and lived in Somalia for 14 months, from there I went to Helsinki Finland for 14 months more. This was all as an Embassy Guard with the Marines. After the service, I worked for a bank and then moved on to the Oakland Police Dept to work in the jail for 3 years. Then to Piemont Police for 17 plus years before retiring. I wound up losing both legs due to health reasons. Worked in Customer Service before retiring.
Have left the Bay Area and now live in Modesto, a lot cheaper
Love to cook, collected cookbooks and got to over a thousand, moved and had no room for them, so downsized to just a few.

School Story:

There is no school story, I was just average and had outside work experience, so lect school everyday to go to work for two hours.
Did not go to the school dances or sporting events.

Dave and I shared a few beers together after we both got out of the service.  I referred Dave to the company I was working for days and he was able to get a job and not have to go back into the Military.  We lost track but I thought of him often.
