After graduating from OCU, I purusued a Music Therapy Equivalency program at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN, fulfilling all the obligations by July05. I took the CBMT exam to receive Board Certification in Sept06. All the while, I was working (mostly full-time) at Wal-Mart.
I lived in Indianapolis from Oct06 until April08 while I worked for a company called Meaninful Day Services, Inc, serving individuals with developmental disabilities (mostly on Medicaid Waiver) in their homes or in the community.
I am currently living in Oakland City again, contracting through another Music Therapist with a company called Integrative Music Therapy, LLC. I continue to serve individuals with developmental disabilities at home or in the community.
