I started teaching at Monrovia Jr. Sr. High School in 2001 on a temporary math license. I was working on my math degree through St Mary-of-the-Woods College. I stayed there for five years. I ended up getting to come back home to Greene County in July 2006. I started teaching at Bloomfield at this time, which is the rival school of where I went to high school. I came and was teaching math, but this year history was incorporated into my teaching schedule as well. While I was at Monrovia, I helped coach junior varsity and varsity basketball as well as coaching eighth grade volleyball. When moving back, I started coaching junior varsity volleyball and this past year I coached varsity volleyball. I met my husband in September 2006 through another family member. We got engaged in December 2006 and married in July 2007 (7/7/07). We had our first child in October 2008 and did not get to finish coaching the remainder volleyball season this year. I am also currently working on my master's degree through Olivet Nazrene University.
