Ruthann died on December 24th at her home at Wayside Avenue in Byfield. She was the wife of Michael Glynn. Born in 1946 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of ida Sensors, and the late George Arbeit. Ruth was an art teacher for the Melrose Public Schools. She taught art for 23 years and was a long time member of the Newburyport Art Association. Her whimsical and intricate three dimensional ceramics enlivened NAA and the gift shop. Ruth, with her good humor and dedication to art, will be missed.
