VOLINI, CAROL ANN, 65 Ocala - Attorney Carol Ann Volini, 65, of Ocala, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Since 1992 Carol has dedicated her life to serving her community by participating on various committees and boards to support the people of Marion County. She was an active member of the Marion County Family Law Group, as well as the Florida Bar Association. She was dedicated to protecting the children and families that she served. She was awarded the state of Florida Pro Bono Award for her work. Her life centered on her career, family, and friends. Carol was not only a mother and grandmother, she was a teacher, a friend, a mentor, and a confidant. She touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Carol is survived by her four children: John Peters, Christine Peters Govier, Carrie Peters Hinson, and Carol Peters Hall; seven grandchildren: Brittany Govier, Jimmy Govier, Taylor Hinson, Brody Hall, Christopher Hinson, Kenny Govier, and Blade Hall. A gathering will be held this Friday, April 29 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel East, 2739 SE Maricamp Rd. A prayer service will be held at 5 p.m.
