Just heard from Betsy Shapiro Bocher (our newest member), that sadly Bonnie Eisenstein passed away sometime in the 70's from cancer. She was survived by her husband and two children.

Bonnie was one of my first friends when I moved to Oceanside in 1955. We were in Girl Scouts together. Although we didn't remain close in high school, we went to Queens College together and were sorority sisters (along with Isabel Byron) in AEPhi.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Bonnie.She went to the Senior Prom with me in 63,the following day we went to Jones Beach and had a great day with a group of friends.As long as she is remembered she's never really gone.
