PERRY JANE “P.J.” REESE, 65, of Crisfield and formerly of Long Island, New York, died Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Oceanside, NY on January 10, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Ewing Reese, Jr. who died September 10, 1982 and Perry Harding Reese who died December 20, 2010.

She worked at the former Carvel Hall Cutlery in Crisfield for more than ten years in sales and as assistant manager of the retail outlet store. Prior, she was a computer programmer in New York, and was a model in her younger years.

“P.J.” was a devoted member of Faith Fellowship Assembly of God in Crisfield. She was a member of the Stanley Cochrane American Legion Post #16 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in New York. She had a great love for gardening, being on the water, and animals.

She is survived by her brother, Harvey E. Reese, III of Norwell, Massachusetts; her first cousins, Linda, Bill and Bobby Seiffert; her aunts and uncles, Marilyn and Martin Atkins and family, Mary Gay and Sonny Adkins and family, and Mary Lee Saunders and family. She is also survived by the families of her deceased aunts and uncles, Mary Theresa Clark, Percy Reese, Bunny Reese, Mary Seiffert, and William Seiffert.
