I have been preaching since 1978 (Yeah, since high school), just about every Sunday. Have worked with the West Side church of Christ in Fort Worth since 1989.
I married Debbie Lisenbe in April, 1982, and we have four wonderful children.
I edit an online magazine, called Watchman Magazine, and maintain the congregation's website - http://soundteaching.org - in addition to my responsibilities as the evangelist there.
I also have been the sportswriter covering high school sports at a local weekly paper in our community. All of my kids were/are varsity athletes at Castleberry High School (3A) in River Oaks, a suburb of Fort Worth. I have been writing a weekly article and taking pictures of the kids since 2001, and love it.
Going back, after graduating high school, I attended college for three years (toward an engineering degree), but preached the whole time. First in Monahans, TX, then at the Crescent Park congregation in Odessa. Debbie and I then moved to Tucumcari, NM to work with a congregation there for about 2.5 years... back to Odessa to work with the West 22nd St. congregation for 2.5 years, then to Fort Worth.
Debbie is healthy and is a wonderful wife and mother. She is a homemaker, part time substitute teacher, and continues with her artistic and crafty bent even to this day. My oldest, Joshua is a History teacher at the high school, and girls basketball and volleyball coach. My oldest daughter, Kendra, is going to school part time, and works as a corrections officer in North Richland Hills. My middle daughter, Kaleigh, is a freshman at the local community college, and works as a bakery. She has her own cake decorating web site - http://kaleighscakes.com . My youngest, Jeremiah, is a junior in high school, is a 3 sport letterman (Cross Country, Basketball and Baseball), but Basketball is his passion.
That's it, in a fairly long nutshell.
