Hey Danny, just got the 60th year Reunion announcement postcard back as undeliverable. Fancy that since you haven't lived on Kiesel Avenue in Ogden, Utah, since forever....... Perhaps you could email your Texas address and a good contact number to Karen LeSieur Seeber to update our reunion classmate listing.  It's great that you will be able to make it this year. It's going to be a momentous occasion.........

Yes, Gary Pioneer Days including the rodeos were certainly a unique, wonderful memory. I recall going to the Paramount a few times, but remember going mostly to the Egyptian for the matinees.

Thanks, Clara.  I believe all of the reunion information has been posted either via email or here.

My addess incidentally is:

It was the Egyptian Theater that had the cereals, I forgot that 😅.

Dan, thank you so much for such a timely response. I follow the messaging going back and forth and didn't realize it was so easy to do. Maybe y'all will hear from me once in a while.......

Thank you Clara.  It would be wonderful to hear/read more from you (and others).  Perhaps, your telling everyone how easy it is, will spur on more activity.

I've been keeping Mike and Jerry in my prayers -- is there any word or update; as to, how they are doing?

Hi Dan. Vanfossen stopped by Jerry Davis house. He hurt his foot at work but he also showed up with something wrong with his heart and he has water on his hip. I'm not sure what else may be wrong. That's all I know.

classmates, just received a phone call from Marilyn Kinsman's sister in Boise, Idaho.Marilyn passed away on July 13 from related Health issues.  I espressed our sympathies to her husband and family.  She  was a fun lady who loved to golf and go to lunch.  She will be coming to our class reunion , we just won't be able to see her.

Hope everyone will  come.

So sad to hear about Marilyn Kinsman...she was a neighbor across the street from my wife Susan Larson. They were good friends. She was a beautiful person and will be sorely missed !

I add my sincere condolences to Marilyn's family and friends.  Always a beautiful lady.

So sorry to hear that the finest lady there ever has been. She and I went to church together. In my year book she wrote "hi Gary, why don't I see at church anymore"? My condolences to her family and friends. The last time I saw her was at our 50th class reunion, pretty as usual and very nice. She will be missed!

Mary, it really is great to read your profile comments, thank you and please keep the stories coming.  If you post here on the forum page, perhaps more will see it and join in.

It's Jackie Lee's birthday today.  I sent a birthday wish to her, but wanted to mention how I remember Jackie from when we were in Lorin Farr Elimentary back in about 1951.  I still see her in my minds eye as if it were yesterday.

This is an exchange I had with Clara, in Phil Martinez's profile message page, and thought I post here so more of you could see it.

I post it with much regret.

"Clara Profaizer Taylor

Hey Dan Hutchison - - just wondering when you are going to leave Texas to make it here by August 11th. Have you contacted Dave Hansen by any chance? I’d ask him BUT he is presently on a camping trip in Idaho. Lucky guy, our temperatures here are pretty hot — however it is a dry heat…… hahaha.

Hi Clara, I've been agonizing over the trip. My dear wife has some mobility issues and has expressed pretty strong trepidation over my leaving her alone.

I would love to see all of you, but must regretfully decline, Please let the rest of the planners know of my appreciation for their/your hard work, I wish I could be there.

That's the first time I heard that you weren't coming Dan. But I totally understand. Your wife is a very lovely lady so she must be your main concern. Best wishes Amigo.

Well Dan, you told me to tell people how easy it was to post a comment to this website forum; I have news for you. It's not that easy to get to the same place every time. I just posted a post and I'm not sure where it went. What I said basically was that I had told you that I understood where your priorities must be at this time and that you would be missed at our 60th class reunion. I've had a lot of great conversations with some of our classmates, some are coming and some will not be able to come for various reasons. But I also mentioned that we definitely will miss the classmates who we cannot get in touch with due to lack of a current address, phone number, or email address.  If anyone reading this has not been contacted, let me know so that we can update your contact information.

Dan, what was the situation that you were living with Grandparents as a young boy? If too personal don't worry about a non-answer. Just curious... And concerning yo yo's did you ever master 'walking the dog'?" -  On marbles I was the champion of Woodruff Elementry in Logan as a 5th grader. In the final tournament I beat out two 6th graders for the crown. I also taught my sons how to play marbles. -- Oh and on the Saturday morning movies, we gathered and sold pop bottles for our tickets and candy and I still remember my buddies and I riding home on stick horse we had corralled in the forest  beside the Logan River and the remains of the old Thatcher Grist Mill that was destroyed by an explosion in the early 1930's ... I believe. My grandfather worked at that mill. -- On Richard Musselman, what a great guy he was, I belive he lived on 7th street near Ben Lomond, but not sure now. Back then we were very good friends. -- Very sorry we won't get to see you at the 60th Dan but shoot for the 65th, because me and Clare Profaizer are already making plans for a good one!

Here's an article I was just made aware of that should be of interest to all Ben Lomond graduates - an effort to refresh the BL on the mountain. Note that they are asking for help (physical and financial) from anyone that is able.

Hey Pete, that article was on the front page of th Standard Examiner.  Doug Wimmer from the Class of 1972 started it, getting some sort of permission from Ogden City and  Weber County; even the power company got involved a bit.  Making the news like it did, I hope there won't be any school rivalry or sabotage.  I was wondering if Doug Wimmer is related to Ferron Wimmer.

Ferron Wimmer
