I'm an optometrist, and part owner in Millard Family Eyecare. My husband Carl and I have an acerage outside Omaha in Springfield, NE. Carl is a metal artist, and his studio is on our grounds. During the summer of 2009 he had a POW monument commissioned that is by the Rose Garden at Memorial Park .

Graduated from UNO with a BS in Biology, then off to St. Louis for 4 more years to earn my Doctor of Optometry.

I love to travel. I've been on 15+ mission trips to do eye exams on people in other countries. I've traveled to Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Equador, Peru and Guatemala. We take donated glasses, and match up prescriptions on patients I examine.
I went to Wales to train as Clinical Director for Special Olympics Healthy Athletes.
Carl and I went to Italy for our 25th wedding anniversary, and returned in May 2009 for a longer visit.
