Comments:

After graduating from Creighton, I moved to Houston, TX and taught there for 6 years. I then relocated to Tucson, Arizona and continued my teaching career, got married and had my two incredible sons! I work hard, play hard and love life!

Since I waited to have my kids till late in life, I am in the "chauffeur" stage of life. I won't complain though, I love every minute of it!

School Story:

There really isn't one story that comes to mind. My memories of Tech involve a lot of laughter and fun. I'm sure there were bad days too, but overall it was a great school, with great faculty and very great students. It was such a unique place, I'm sure there will never be any school like it. I feel proud to have been a part of it.

What did you do right after High School?

I attended Peru State College. I transferred to Creighton after 3 years of not terribly academic pursuits. I got a job working the graveyard shift, went to school at Creighton during the day and slept from about 2-7, got up and studied and started a new day. After 2 1/2 years of this, I graduated and moved to Houston.

Any Grand Kids?

No

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy reading, sports (both as a participant and a spectator, although it's more spectator these days!), travel and scrapbooking. I also enjoy recreational gambling, and am the official Office Pool person at my school.

Any Vices?

Yes

Where have you traveled?

Mostly in the northeastern and Southwestern US, although I've also visited Cancun and Hawaii. We are planning a trip to Florida next summer to visit the new theme park based on the Harry Potter series

How old do you feel?

It depends on what day you ask me, but certainly not as old as my driver's license states!

Any Grey hair?

Yes

What would we be surprised to know about you?

Maybe people would be surprised that I ever managed to graduate from college, but I did! I even managed a masters degree in 1996. I'm sure there are more than a few people who are surprised I'm not sitting in Benson Park (if it's still there) with a bottle of TJ Swann talking in a funny accent about "wild and crazy guys"!

Did you have a nick name/s at Tech?

not that anyone told me to my face

Who was your favorite teacher?

I liked teachers I didn't have for class.....hmmmm

What was your favorite class?

Well, it sure wasn't Geometry although I set a record for the longest time to finish that one

What are your best memories from Tech?

Many, many memories of fun times at parties, football games, basketball games, Holiday tourney. Hanging out with everyone in the 4th floor bathroom.....how did we ever get away with that? Decorating floats for homecoming, so many more

Any Crazy Confessions?

I think I was pretty much out in the open about my crimes in those days. Still am, in fact.
