I have lived in Omaha most of my life. We lived in Sioux Falls for a couple years, but that didn't work out with us. Family, and jobs called us back to Omaha! We are much happier here.

I have really enjoyed getting back in touch with old friends from school and staying in closer contact and having more reunions.

After graduation I enrolled in classes at Bellevue College. I started out as an Art & Psychology Major but decided I didn't want to starve so I'd better do something that was going to support me! Awww.... nursing school seemed like a great idea because there were TONS of ads in the paper for nurses. So, I spent two years taking all kinds of science and math stuff that I didn't take in High School! I really loved Bellevue College because it was very small and I got to know a lot of the student population because I worked in the student union.

I then went to nursing school at Clarkson University and graduated in January of 1985.

I went to Tech High because I wanted to get away from most of the people at my Junior High [students and teachers] who were not very nice. Tech had a lot to offer and I loveId ALL of my days at Tech. There is not a single bad memory of Tech High whatsoever. All of the teachers were great and treated us with respect and kindness. I can't print here some of the trouble I got in! LOL! But, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Collins were pretty nice about it overall all things considered!

One of the best things from Tech was my experience in being in the Miss Tech Pageant. Mr. Morse was very dedicated to helping us become real ladies, and have a good time making friends and learning a lot about ourselves. I didn't have very much self confidence and didn't want to participate since I didn't feel I had any 'talent', since I was not a singer or a dancer, and didn't play a musical instrument. But, the environment at Tech is different and my friends and teachers helped me see that I did have some talent, and so I made a documentary about Tech High School, which I was able to do because of my 3 years of training in the Tech Television courses. It was a life changing experience, and I wish more young ladies would have had that opportunity.

Partied all summer!!!!!! Then I went to college and buckled down.

Most memorable is Rome and the surrounding Italian country side. I saw the Holy Father 4 times! Great place to go even if you are not a Catholic.

Most are suprised that I went to Nursing School and am a Registered Nurse. I was kind of crazy in High School.

I went through a very rough period a few years ago with my health and I believe it is a miracle I am alive, so I think God has something he wants me to do.
