Gary P. Mixer   02-20-1940  -  03-14-2024

Gary died peacefully at home at age 84.  He was survived By: Son: Daniel P Mixer, Daughter: Debra Mixer, Sister: Lois Soukup ; 10 grandchilren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1-nephew, 1-niece with 2-great neices and 2 great-nephews.

Gary worked in Omaha, NE all of his life with his spouse, Barbara (DeJong) Mixer (preceded in death 08-06-2021). He retired at the age of 76 years old in 2017. They enjoyed retirement life together along with grandbabies, until Barbara's health worsened. Gary stayed positive in what life had handed him but his health worsened over time, as well. Gary didn't always have an easy time in life but his faith along with his wife's prayers provided them both with the strength needed to meet the hurdles of the day to day events. Their footprints in life will live on in our hearts. May they Rest In Peace and dwell in the house of the Good Lord.
