

Philip J. Robbins
Philip J. Robbins of Bayonet Point FL. passed away on June 9th 2018 at the age of 78 after a brief illness. Phil was born on May 22, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Roy and Joyce Robbins.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln he took his first job as a disc jockey in Fort Dodge Iowa. It was there he met Norma Jean Kopp who he fell in love with and married on November 10, 1962.
Phil's long career in radio took him and his growing family to many states, and stations. He finally settled and spent 20 years in Oshkosh as President, General Manager and Shareholder in radio stations WOSH and WVBO, later becoming one of the last single owner operators of a station in Green Bay. After selling his station in Green Bay he spent the first few years of retirement running his own vitamin store. Phil loved dancing, especially with his fiancé and best friend MaryAnn Durkin Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Norma, his parents, brother Marvin and a granddaughter Danielle.
Phil is survived by his 4 children, Craig (Harriet) Green Bay, Neil (Angel) Green Bay, Brian (Dana) Oshkosh, and Amy Last (Jason) Oshkosh. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends.
In keeping with Phil's wishes, a private memorial service will be held for family at a later date.
Phil will be buried at Riverside cemetery in Oshkosh next to his wife Norma. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy or memorials can mailed to 1754 Michigan St. Oshkosh, WI 54902, c/o Phil Robbins Family.
