I graduated from Mizzou in 1973 and married Glenn, another MU grad.,from Jackson, the same year. Taught English for 3 years, was guidance counselor at Oran, then Sikeston for 25 years. Had two beautiful daughters. Retired in 2002 to do part-time guidance at Sikeston Alternative School where I worked with Fred Johnson. Am enjoying being grandmother to Evan, 2 1/2 yrs., Samantha, 1 month and Emma will be born in late December. I love gardening, both flower and vegetable, and reading. We built a house on Glenn's farm outside of Gordonville in 2005, where we currently live. My mother, Jane Wrather, who most of you had for English, is still going strong. She lives in Cape now, but she drives weekly to Oran to have Nadine do her hair. Claims she can't find a beauty shop in Cape!! She's amazingly independent. She walks a mile every day!!! She loves talking politics.
