I am a military spouse. Moved to Maryland in 2006 right after having my 1 year old from San Antonio, TX (Gosh, I missed it there). But, I am all settled in Maryland and keeping busy with my little ones. (I started over...what was I thinking!!) As far as after high school, I went to school in Atlanta, stayed a short while in New York and Maryland then settled in Columbia, SC. Soon after, I met my husband at Fort Jackson, SC. We got married in 1996, where we were stationed at Fort Hood, TX. I graduated from Central Texas College with a degree in nursing in 2003 while I was pregnant with my second child.... God got me through it, because I was so so sick). Soon after, my husband was sent to Iraq for 20 months...again GOD got me through that (never would have made without him). My husband then got special orders in 2004 to Fort Sam Houston, TX, where I just adored San Antonio. Then in 2006, we moved to Fort Meade, MD, which is his current assignment. I currently work as a PRN Nurse at an Urgent Care Clinic in Laurel, Md and as a Charge Nurse on a Skilled Unit in a long term care facility (Nursing Home) in Glen Burnie, MD. My job(s)and my kids (including my husband) keep me so busy but all in all I am so blessed! This fall, I will be going back to college to further my studies in Nursing. I look to forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and GOD BLESS!
Crazy as this may sound, I don't remember too much about high school, other than I wanted to hurry up, graduate, and be GROWN! I was pretty much a loner in high school, meaning I had fun in class but I didn't have particular friends that I hung out with. Oh wait, I remember now....I did have a whole lot of fun with my friend, Rena Robinson in French II class (hey girl...if you reading this!) But anyway, I wished I would have slowed down, enjoyed those years, and did more school activities. Oh well, my oldest son keep me busy with his high school activities. He participates in the band, choir, and JROTC (He is Commanding Officer on the Drill Team and Color Guard Team)He is always in some type of competition. He also does talent shows and he is an honor student...Yeah, I am just so proud of him and my other kids too. But pray for us, because I am teaching him how to drive! GOD BLESS!
